“Call me old-fashioned, but to me, my home is everything. I work harder at maintaining it than anything else in my life. I care for it—ensuring all is peaceful and well within our walls—because home is a sanctuary. It’s a place of refuge, comfort, and protection. It’s where you can truly be yourself—where you can let it all hang out: the good, the bad, and yes, sometimes the ugly. Home is a place of healing and strength. It should be unlike any other place in your life. And that, my friends, is your home.
We are called to love our homes and keep a watchful eye over them—Amen. Many people never truly live within the walls of their houses—they’re always moving, trying to escape, longing to be elsewhere. But I can’t wait to get home. I’m eager to return to the place that belongs to me and my family—Amen.
Home is where great meals nourish us, amazing conversations flow, and occasional disagreements remind us of our unique perspectives—Amen. Through it all, we know, deeply, just as our families do, that within the walls of our home, there is abundant love—Amen.
Scripture reminds us of the sacred calling behind our homes. Psalm 127:1 tells us that unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. So the first act in building a home well is placing the Lord at its foundation—He alone deserves the highest place—Amen. By wisdom and understanding, a home is established and built (Proverbs 24:3–4). We’re instructed to talk about God’s commandments when we rise up and when we lie down (Deuteronomy 6:6–7). Every house is built by someone (Hebrews 3:4), so let ours be built by the Lord—Amen.
In Matthew, we are taught that when we build our homes upon the rock—Christ Jesus—our homes will stand firm and not fall when life’s storms come (Matthew 7:24–27). In Isaiah, we’re promised peaceful dwellings, secure homes, and undisturbed places of rest (Isaiah 32:18)—Hallelujah.
Today, my heart’s prayer is that we all continue to build our lives firmly on the Lord. That we protect our homes with all we have, live and laugh and love within their walls. That we know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, we are loved and protected—that Jesus is Lord over our homes and families. That we are covered by His precious blood, and that all is well, and will be well, because of Christ—and because He continues His work in us each day. He shows no favoritism—what He does for others, He will do for you and me—Amen.”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
