“Be gentle with yourself!”

Isn’t it wonderful that the Lord isn’t a respecter of persons (Acts 10:34)? He uses us all—the ones who mess up, the ones who fall, those who backslide, those with a history. You know what I mean—the ones unafraid to say what they’ve been through, the ones who don’t pretend they’ve “arrived.” Amen! The Lord uses us all in every season of life: in our mess, in our heartaches and misery, in our process of growing up in Him, and even in our failures—a thousand times, it may seem.

Serving Christ is like daily cleaning the house you live in. Every day we clean ourselves up, get back up, renew our minds, and move forward (Romans 12:2). We do the best we can with our lives, understanding that without the Lord we can’t do much (John 15:5). Without Him, our lives would be a mess—but even with Him, we’ll still battle life’s challenges; situations are all around us. Perfect? None of us are. Amen!

As I read a quote the other day: if others could see our thoughts—even our own—they might lock us up! Whether we reveal who we are or live bound by others’ opinions, the Lord knows us. He sees our thoughts from afar (Psalm 139:2). He knows it all and still calls us. Isn’t that amazing? It’s incredible to me. Amen!

But what’s even more incredible is that we have the Lord fighting for us, protecting us, using us, keeping us, loving on us. Praise the Lord! He is such a good Father—so wonderful. He never turns us away, overlooks us, hurts our feelings or bruises our pride. He never makes us feel worthless or not good enough. He never corrects in anger. He is so loving and kind—it’s completely unreal, even amid our mess.

God doesn’t look for perfection; He seeks a heart of surrender and love. Amen! Know that God holds us, loves us, and has a plan for us (Jeremiah 29:11). Even in our imperfections, He uses us. So let’s do the best we can with our lives—because even in the mess, God still has us. He uses the worst of us to bring out His best in others. Amen!

Keep shining. Keep living for that audience of One. Live well with the Lord, for what a Savior He is. Amen!

“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
