For the most part, I truly do try my best to overcome evil with good, to turn the other cheek, to go the extra mile—just as the Scriptures teach. The Bible says that if your enemy is hungry, feed them; if they’re thirsty, give them something to drink. And in doing so, we heap coals of fire upon their head (Romans 12:20). Amen.
However, over the years I’ve come to realize that sometimes, that approach doesn’t quite work with everyone—especially with people you have to be around regularly, whether at work or in life. In those cases, I’ve learned that what you allow in your life will continue. If you let others treat you poorly, disrespect you, walk all over you, and make you feel like a doormat, they’ll keep doing it.
When I first became a child of God, I allowed so much negativity and mistreatment toward me, thinking I was doing the right thing—trying to be good, trying to represent the Lord. But I suffered deeply because of it. I was miserable, praying and crying out to God, asking Him how to deal with it and to help me. Amen.
Because, let’s be honest—none of us really want conflict or controversy. I don’t want to cause division or go against what the Bible teaches. But I am also reminded that many in Scripture confronted the enemy head-on. Amen!
I know this much: we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual wickedness in high places. We must daily put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10–18). Amen. Still, I know the enemy will use anything and everything to try to get us to fall—to give up, to walk away, to live in constant drama, sadness, and distraction. And those distractions often come strongest when you’re walking closely with God. Amen.
Jesus Himself was led into the wilderness and tempted by the devil, but He didn’t just sit there and take it. He responded with truth. He confronted the enemy directly and stayed focused on His purpose (Matthew 4:1–11). Amen.
And remember David—that little shepherd boy. He boldly approached Goliath without fear. He said, “You come to me with a sword and a spear, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I will strike you down and cut off your head” (1 Samuel 17:45–46). And that’s exactly what happened. Amen.
So today, if you’re dealing with a mess in your life that just keeps dragging on with no resolution, it may be time to be brave. Speak up. Confront the enemy. Amen. Have the hard conversation if you need to. But do not continue living a miserable life because of someone causing chaos in your world. It won’t stop until you stop it. What you allow will continue. Never forget that.
God does not want us mistreated, hated on, or disrespected. Amen. So speak clearly. Ask the questions that need to be asked. Once it’s brought into the light, it can be dealt with. But hiding it, avoiding it, and pushing it aside will never fix anything.
So pray. Seek God’s wisdom. Put on your armor. And then confront whatever giant is bringing chaos into your life. You are a mighty warrior in Christ. Be bold. Be brave. And don’t allow it any longer.
We are not cowards—we are children of the Most High God, bought with a great price. Know your worth. Speak boldly. Be fearless. And remember, those things that seem so big are often just small and loud distractions trying to intimidate you. Amen!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
