“What is the thing or things that truly bother us in our lives?..what are those things that get us down and sad and depressed?..Amen..what are those things in our lives that truly steals away our joy our peace our happiness?..Amen..because here’s the thing if we could just switch our thinking around..Amen..switch the way we are seeing things in our lives..and switch it to the way that God is seeing it in other words..such as this..first off we are so concerned with money..material things in life..always having better..always getting better..Amen..always wanting more than what we have..and usually those things are the things that take us to this stage in life..as to where everything else that is truly good and wonderful in life..gets thrown by the wayside..Amen..the happy marriage..the wonderful children..our salvation..our peace of mind..our freedom..food on our table..clothes on our backs..Hallelujah!”

“So this is what I want us all to do..I want us to truly think about what is taking away all the goodness from us and our lives..what are we dwelling on..Amen..because I tell ya one thing if we could think about the things in life that matter and matter greatly..then we all would have great days..Amen..such as the ones around us that need love and encouragement..the ones around us that are bound up in their lives and they need freedom..Amen..the ones around us that are sick and very sick to say the least..Amen..because we as I say live in this society as to where our measure of success and who we are in life is based on our homes..on our finances..on the vehicles we drive..the clothes we wear..Amen..and let me say something NONE of that impresses the Lord..Amen..because its nothing at all about those things in this life..and I think somehow the enemy shifted our vision and our mindsets to a continual dwelling on things other than the true things in life that we should be focusing on which is the people in our lives..the problems that they are having..not being so self absorbed..Amen!”

“See we should be as the Lord Jesus was as He went about the Fathers business..as He went about doing good everywhere and anywhere it was that He went..and He didn’t even have a place the bible says to lay His head..(Matthew 8:20/Luke 9:58)..so we are spoiled tremendously..we are so focused on our own lives that we dwell on us nad our needs..and our wants..as I say continually..Amen..and Oh my goodness..guys that is a very shakey and scary place to live at in our lives..to be thinking only of ourselves and our own lives..because that is not a godly thing for any of us to be doing..not ever..for that is a selfish thing to do and a very much prideful thing to say the least..Amen..so again we should do as the Lord commanded love Him and love our neighbors..and be Kindgom minded..thinking and dwelling on people in life..helping others as we journey along..for I can say that we all can be like Peter as the went along with John on their journey..and Peter said to the begger..silver and gold I have not..but such as I have I give unto you..arise and walk..(Acts 3:6)..Amen..for that is usually our own mindsets..we don’t have anything..we are empty handed..but I tell you we have Christ Jesus living inside of us..and when we get it right.and we shift our focus on the people..instead of self..and things as I say..great and mighty things will begin happening..Praise the Lord..so let us focus on the true most meaningful things in life that matter more so than anything..and that is souls..Praise the Lord..so let us pray this morning..and ask the Lord to shift our focus and our vision..to help us and to forgive us..to stay focus on His people in life..other than stuff in this life and ole world in which we live..Amen!”
