“So I heard this pastor say this..he says sure we can have our emotions..all of the feelings..even at times be sad..and think back over our lives..and even fall into a bit of depression..because it happens as well with different seasons in our lives..Amen..because we there are times and seasons for everything under the heavens..(Ecclesiastes 3:1-8)..Amen..but anyways he goes on to saying that after the season we are to rise up above that season..whatever that season may have looked like for us..Amen..but here’s what happens..we don’t rise up above it..and so we stay there in that season and for many for the rest of their lives..they live in the season of depression..anxiety..fear..unbelief..saddness..mourning..all of the above..Amen..and then what happens is they never live their lives to the fullest potential in which they can and should be living them..because they have somehow placed those things on the throne of their heart..Amen..and that is pretty scary to say the least..Amen..because if we do this..any of us do this..and daily we have exalted the situation and season that we’ve been in..then that thing becomes lord over us..that situation becomes ruler over our lives..and it will dictate who we are..what we do..how we live..how we respond..literally everything..and it controls us..and it is not a good controlling..because it keeps us bound up living in yesterday..and not all today..it keeps us focused on the bad and what all has happened to us in our lives..how hurt we’ve been..what people has done to us..everything that we’ve lost..and we continue in this spiral of defeat..and if we are living in defeat in our lives..we never reach the place of victory in our lives..we only stay where were at..and we only do so much..nothing more than that..Amen!”

“And we all know pretty much what I am talking about here this morning..because maybe we have been there ourselves in life..and we have done this as well..but hopefully we are over it..and we have moved on..because we all know this cycle with people..the things they’ve been through is what they continually talk about..as if that is their life..but it’s not..it was a season..it was a time for growth..and it is not your identity in life..it is to use to help us grow..and then help others grow..but it is not a life sentence so to speak..because honestly no one wants to hear the story again..they already know it..but as well here’s the thing you have gotten through it..Amen..you made it through it..Praise the Lord..and when any of us wallow there and daily wallow there..then we are placing that thing again on the forefront of our minds..we are stirring all the stuff up again..we are relieving it again..and what happens we never get out of it..we stay there in the mess..in the defeat..in the hurting and the enemy wants this for us guys..but God has made us wiser than the enemy..(Psalms 119:98)..so reconginize his schemes and tactics that he tries to bring daily..because he is a defeated foe..and God our Father has sit you free from all that mess..He has delivered you..Praise the Lord..so let us not sit down in sackcloth and ashes..because each of us is more than the past..Amen!”

“For we all have a future and bright one at that..if only we open our eyes to see it..and take that stuff that we’ve placed on the throne of our hearts and throw it by the wayside of our lives..and place King Jesus there instead..(Psalms 103:19)..Praise the Lord..and live and speak and act as a child of God..other than some defeated woe is me kind of orphan..because we are children of the Most High God..(Psalms 82:6)..and He has taken us into to His family..and we are no longer slaves to any of the mess that once was..for now we reign in victory as sons and daughters..(2 Corinthians 6:18)..Amen..so guard your heart my dear sweet friends..and stop yourself from living and making anything and master over you and your life..other than our Lord and Savior..so be careful with what you are speaking from your lips and make sure that it is edifying and uplifting..that is victory and purpose and all goodness coming from them..for this is the day that the Lord has made so let us rejoice and be glad in it..(Psalms 118:24)..Amen..for King Jesus is sitted on the throne of our hearts..so let us keep Him there always..giving no place to the enemy and let him who stole steal no more from you and your beautiful life that God has given..(Ephesians 4:28)..so open your eyes and begin to give the Lord praise for all of His blessings that He alone truly does load each of us up with daily..(Psalms 68:19)..letting Him rule and reign over you and your life..keeping Him always sitted on the throne of your heart..Amen!”
