“This morning as I sit here I just think of life and guys every time we go back to this..and that is this..life is short..it’s over immediately at times..again can catch you off guard..can take your breathe away when it comes knocking..just within the last few weeks my family and I had lost two people in whom that we’ve known and loved..Amen..and you think of this and you think that it would stir families and friends to draw closer together..to be more in unison..to forgive more quickly..to actually stir us into truly figuring out what our purpose is in life..where is it that we can be used more efficiently and greatly for the Kingdom of God..where is it that God has ordained for each of us to be at in our lives?..Amen..because the bible says that we all have been created for a purpose..(Proverbs 16:4)..Amen..and do we acutally seek out the purpose that God has for us?…do we get so serious about it that we continually seek God’s face for it?..Amen..do we really want it?..the purpose..the talents that has been given..do we really want to use them for the Lord and His glory?..or do we simply hold back in fear and self..that we never step over into the glory and the place that God has for us and our lives?..because we all have something to be doing greatly for the Lord..if we are children of the Lord..Amen..and with the days getting shorter as we all journey along..(Matthew 24:22)..you would think that each of us would take it more seriously then we do..Amen..for today is the youngest that any of us will ever be again in our lives..Amen..I think my goodness my mommy is heading towards 80..Amen..that is completely unreal to me..Amen..it just seems that not so long ago she was my age that I am now..Amen..but I am saying all of this to let us see that our days have been numbered of the Lord..(Psalms 139:16)..and when the time is up it’s up..and each of us will stand before the Lord and give an account for our lives..(Romans 14:12)..and what we chose to do and what we chose not to do..Amen!”

“And the thing is this we all know what we’ve been gifted in..we all know our strengths and our weaknessness that we have..but somehow we let go of them..the strenghts that we have..we let go of the things that used to stir us up..I know for myself I have..and it isn’t that I ever wanted to it just daily little by little things change in life..I used to sing all the time in church and in choir..and I used to travel to different churches to sing..and now I don’t..Amen..don’t get me wrong I sing daily but not as I used to..Amen..I used to teach young girls bible fellowship class..and yesterday I saw two of the young girls I had taught before and they were studying the bible and they both are now in there second year of college..and I told them both I am so proud of you for studying and reading your bible..Amen..but again I don’t do that any longer..as well I used to teach Women’s bible study..and I don’t do that any longer..Amen..but again somehow it all ended and stopped along the way..life happening..a job..all of the things..Amen..but guys we have to pay attention to what we’re not doing any longer..because the enemy will sneak right in there and begin to steal away a lot from your life..and quickly at that..(John 10:10)..Amen!”

“So this morning I want us all to truly consider our gifts..our talents..the things we do..the things that the Lord wants us to be doing..and seek Him out for the place for you and your life..the place as to where you are thriving in your life..being productive for the Lord..and helping others change their lives..by you using your gifts and talents and abiblty to do so..letting God work through you His vessel..because He alone fearfully and wonderfully made us..(Psalms 139:14)..Amen..and He knows our frame..He knows what is in us..He knows our capabilities..Amen..He knows how we like certain things and how we thrive there in those places..so don’t just continue on confused..not knowing..daily just in this I don’t know thought life..but truly seek it out from the Lord..seek His face..He says call unto me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things..(Jeremiah 33:3)..and when we do..let us get ready because God will answer us..and then we have to be willing to place feet to it..and place hands to the work..and we have to get up out of our boats and walk on that water..Amen..so know again we have a reason that we are here in this world..we have a purpose and God has a plan..find your purpose and find the reason..and keep seeking..and knocking until that door comes opens for you..for God will do it again..Praise the Lord..if He did before He will do it again..Amen!”
