“I heard this pastor say..I just kept going over and over to the Lord for the same things..every day I would take my petitions to the Lord..and lay it all out there before Him..and pretty much it was like a honey to do list..Amen..fix this for me..I need this..and I want you to get those people..they are mean to me..Amen..you know God what they done..and we go on and on..with every complaint under the sun and we do this over and over as I say..daily..over and over..Amen..and then one day the pastor says I heard the Lord say to me..don’t ask me for anything else other than Me..Amen..and so as she was getting ready to go with another complaint to the Lord..or another situation..she would stop herself right in the middle of it..and say but I only want You, Lord..Amen!”

“And this wasn’t for the fact of the Lord not wanting her to ask for anything..but the point of it was that the Lord was just wanting her to want Him..Amen..not what He could do for her..but simply just love and want the Lord for herself and her life..Amen..because this is the thing when life seems to be running smoothly..what is that we do?..we rush through our prayer time..or we simply don’t pray at all..we just get up and get going..Amen..until there is a problem then we pray to the Lord..Amen..but God is wanting us to understand that we only need Him in this life..for everything it is that we need..Amen..if we only understood the concept of praying and talking to the Lord before anything else in our lives..then our whole day goes better..whatever need..whatever problem..whatever situation..somehow God steps in and fixes it all..we are not to worry and fret daily over the same ole thing..Amen..because in doing so we drive ourselves first and foremost crazy..Amen..but we are to seek first the bible says the Kingdom of God and ALL of these other things shall be added unto us..(Matthew 6:33)..Amen!”

“But as well in seeking first we as well have to trust and have faith in the Lord that He is and that He will..Amen..that He is a good God and Father to us..Amen..that He loves us..and He knows everything..He sees everything..He understands everything..Amen..see we can’t go to God pointing fingers at others and blaming others for our own lives when the Lord knows what we are doing and what we are saying..Amen..He knows how we are living and if we are placing feet to the prayers that we are praying more so than sitting down on them..Amen..He knows if we are truly trusting Him..or we are fretting and worrying about it all..Amen..but when we just keep on with the same ole thing to the Lord then we are just picking it back up again and carrying it right on along with us..in which case the enemy wants us too..Amen..so this morning I am gonna say to us all..seek first..seek God first..before anything else..and say to Him Lord I only want you..fill me up this day..fill me with joy this day..fill me with happiness this day..fill me with peace this day..fill me and feed me Lord this very day with everyhting and anything it is that you alone Lord desire for me..Amen..and stay there in His presence until He is done filling you..and then get up and go..and live a good faith filled day with the Lord walking hand and hand..and He will take care of everything else as He promises so..Amen..so we let go and have faith and trust God all the while as we are seeking Him and Him alone first..so remember seek first God and His Kingdom..Amen..because we live in this world but we are not of this world..we are piligrams and strangers merely passing through..this world is not our home..heaven is the goal..that’s why God says to us store up your treasures in heaven..Amen..for where your treasure is there as well is your heart..(Matthew 6:19-21)..so when were seeking first the Kingdom..then God as well knows that is where our hearts are as well..Hallelujah!”
