“So as many of you know my husband is an over the road truck driver..so when were not together his biggest complaint is I wish I could just smell you and your scent..Amen..he says I am gonna have to buy a bottle of your perfume and leave it in the truck..Amen..and of course I think of this and I always says to him it reminds me of the scripture in the word of God when it tells us as God’s children that we are to be a a sweet savour unto Him..Amen..we are to have a sweet smell in other words into the Lords nostrils..many translations say it this way..a pleasing aroma..a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God..a sweet perfume..and one says a good odor..(2 Corinthians 2:15)..Amen..but I don’t actually think its about our scent so to speak..it’s more about our life that we are choosing to live..the way that we are living..the things that we are doing..are we leaving a good scent wherever we go?..are we leaving great footprints to follow behind?..are we leaving a happy atmosphere?..are we speaking well?..are we being kind?..caring?..loving?..compassionate?..Amen..because that to me leaves a good scent..a nice beautiful fragrance..Amen..like a home cooked meal being prepared..or a nice crisp apple pie being baked in the oven..or the smell of fresh cut grass..Amen!”

“Because our scent and fragrance in life means a lot about who we are in Christ..and how we are choosing to represent Him and bring Him glory and honor..for I believe just as parents have this sense of pride over their children when they are living well and doing well in their lives..the same with the Lord for us..(Matthew 28:20)..as we are going along day to day the things we are doing is a sacrifice if you will to our Father..a sweet smell always going into His nostrils..Amen..because our Father is always with us..we can’t hide from Him..we don’t shove Him if you will far away just when we choose to do whatever that we wanna do..He comes right along with us..in all of choices and decisions it is that we are making..and He sees every time we choose Him over sin..He sees us every time we turn away from temptations..Amen..He sees all the stuff we do that daily comes our way to distract us..to get us off guard..and He sees how we choose to do the right thing..we choose to honor Him..and show and give Him respect for our lives..Amen..and in doing so each of us bring that good smelling fragrance to our Lord and Savior..Amen..and I know as we do..He smiles down upon us with so much love and happiness towards us..as we are growing and learning and navigating this beautiful yet simple complicated glorious life that He died that we all should and could be living..so make good your scent to the Lord..make sure that what you do is pleasing to our Father in heaven..again everything we do matters and it does matter greatly..so stay fresh and stay clean for Jesus Christ our Lord always and forever..spreading that Christ-like scent and most beautiful fragrance..Amen!”
