“Today here in America is the National Day of Prayer..Amen..it has no specific day that it falls upon only the first Thursday in the calendar year of the month of May..Amen..but many gather on this special occasion to come together in unity to pray for our leaders and our government..our churches..and our communities in which we live..asking of the Lord for His forgiveness..His guidance..wisdom and blessings to be upon us all..Amen..in the bible God say this to us His children..If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land..(2 Chronicles 7:14)..Praise the Lord..for this is a day to remember to pray..that through our prayer lives our lives change..Amen..God steps in and intervenes for us on our behalf..Amen..for so many of us only think that talking about our problems..discussing the problems..murmuring and complaining about the problems in life and in our lives changes anything..and I can be the first to say that only through prayer does it get the puzzle pieces of lives moved around to fit perfectly where it is that God needs for them to be..it’s only through our prayer lives that we grow and trust in Jesus more than ever before..Amen..for the bible gives many scriptures on prayer and just how important it is for each of us and our lives to pray..Amen!”

“For the Lord says that He is near to all who call on Him..to all who call on Him in truth..(Psalms 145:18)..Amen..that we are to be anxious for nothing..but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving..that we are to let our request be made known to God..(Philippians 4:6)..Amen..we are to rejoice in hope..be patient in tribulation and be constant in prayer..(Romans 12:12)..Praise the Lord..but as well the Lord says call unto me..pray to me..and I will hear you..(Jeremiah 29:12)..Amen..but more than all of that the Lord tells us all to watch and pray..that we enter not into temptation..for He says that our spirit is willing..but our flesh is weak..(Matthew 26:41)..Amen..so just know that our prayer lives are the most important thing that each of us do every single day of our lives..that we make time..and that we take time to be in our Father’s presence..giving Him our day and giving Him our everything of who we are and all that we need for each and every day of our lives..for it’s only our prayer that makes them mountains fall..that takes us through them low valleys..that delivers us..and sets us free..that brings healing..and much peace and freedom..for prayer is our weapon that we have been given..and so my heart and my prayer is that each of us use our weapons daily for the Lord and His Kingdom and His glory..but as well for us and our lives and our strength and wisdom that each of us need..and daily so..Amen!”
