“I always say that I am better than what I was but still not there yet..Amen..so yesterday I ended up in a lot of different places while driving that I haven’t been in a while..Amen..and some of those places just literally made my stomach turn..Amen..and it was for the fact of what I was going through in that moment and time in my life..which needless to say was over 26 years ago..Amen..but in that moment yesterday my mind began to scroll down memory lane..Amen..and thinking of the choices that I was making..the struggle that I was in..and the growth that was taking place in me and my heart and my life with the Lord..Amen..because isn’t it funny at how we are so hard on ourselves in life..we at times speak very negative to our ownselves in our minds and in our thought life..we just pretty much never give ourselves any grace whatsoever..we just think that we need to be doing better..we could be doing better..and that we need to grow more..we need to change this or that..we can just speak so much over us in our minds that it is pretty bad to say the least..but all that while we would never speak such things to others for the mere fact of hurting them or discouraging them..Amen..but as I was thinking back yesterday over it all..I couldn’t help but praise Jesus for ALL that He has done in my life for me..all the things that He has protected me from..has guarded me from..at all the things that He has blessed me with in my life..it is completely unreal..Amen..because who are we anyways that Jesus would be so mindful of us and our lives?..Amen..for we were merely made from dust..(Genesis 2:7)..Amen..because as I was thinking back I remember so much favor God gave to me through difficult seasons of life..because guys we have them..but as well I was thanking the Lord for them because in turn it has made me into the person I am today..Amen!”

“So I know now in my life that a good trip if you will down memory lane opens your eyes to what all you have overcome..just how much you have grown and changed to be more and more made into the image of Jesus..Amen..because life never makes sense while your going through something..not ever..but as you look back you see how God was truly working everything together for you and your good..(Romans 8:28)..just as He promises too..Amen..so as I say I am not there yet and probably never will be there yet so to speak..but daily I am trying my best to walk this pathway that Christ has laid out before me..because there is a purpose and a plan for it all..even in the mess God is still there blessing us..even in the mistakes God is still there giving us much grace and love..even in the heartaches God is there giving us comfort and peace..Amen..so show yourself some mercy and grace today..don’t be so hard on you and your life and yourself..Amen..but give God praise for all that He is doing for you and in you..Amen..and all that He has brought you through..and don’t speak so badly and poorly to yourself..because self hate is a bad thing to have..because as we think the bible says so are we..(Proverbs 23:7)..Amen..we act out what we are thinking on..so be kind to you..and make Jesus your best friend..and talk to Him about whatever is troubling you and your mind..and then you and Him together will work it out..Amen..because you are His masterpiece created for great works..(Ephesians 2:10)..Amen..so never forget how much you’ve grown and changed..and never forget that the same God who opened doors before and showed much favor over you is the same God that will do it again today..Amen..for we serve a great BIG GOD and Jesus Christ is His name..so know just whom it is that you serve..and always remember as I like to say..that He alone can do anything, anywhere, and anytime that He alone chooses for He is God..Praise the Lord!”
