“Have you ever noticed that when life begins to get hard somehow immediately our minds go backwards..we begin thinking of the old ways..the former ways if you will..and then we begin to question our decisions that has brought us to the place we are at now in our lives..Amen..but this is thing the enemy always wants you to turn around and go back to the old ways..the former ways..the old man if you will..because you see yes its gonna get hard when you start walking with Jesus as you begin the path of life with Him walking and climbing if you will the mountain..Amen..because climbing mountains and even in the valleys of life we hit rough patches..we hit grown up patches..we hit mud holes if you will..we run into rocky places all the while climbing and walking and at times even running along side with the Lord Jesus..Amen..but I have come to say this morning..that our former man and the former self is to die..Amen..and we are to die daily..(1 Corinthians 15:31)..Amen..for the word says this..that old self was crucified with the Lord Jesus..that our body of sin would be done away with..Amen..that we would be no longer a slave to sin..(Romans 6:6)..Hallelujah!”

“That we are to be obedient children unto the Lord..that we are not to be conformed to our former lust..which was ours in our ignorance..(1 Peter 1:14)..Amen..because going backwards in life..is not a place for any of us to be at in our lives..Amen..for the Lord says that once we place our hands to the plow that we are to keep our eyes forward..Amen..that if we look back that we are not fit for the service of the Kingdom of God..(Luke (9:62)..for we are to discipline ourselves for the purpose of godliness..(1 Timothy 4:7)..because our obligation is not to the flesh..to live according to it..Hallelujah..for we must have our flesh and the old man die..we must live by the spirit man..and when we do..we live..Amen..and we have clear vision..and we have everything it is that we need this side of heaven..(Romans 8:12-13)..Hallelujah..because we cannot put new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wineskins burst, and the wine pours out and the wineskins are ruined; but wew are to put new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved..(Matthew 9:17)..Hallelujah!”

“So God is doing a new thing in each of us..and we must stay the course..stay the path way..stay in the now of it all..not distracted..but focused on what the will of the Lord is for our lives..Amen..and we must pray for wisdom and discerment..because God is not the God of confusion but He is the God of peace..(1 Corinthians 14:33)..Hallelujah..and He tells us you will hear my voice..for He says my sheep hear my voice and I know them..and they follow me..(John 10:27)..Amen..so remember this there is nothing to look back for in your life..there is nothing to turn around for in your life..for God has brought you to far..you have climbed to many moutains..you have went through so many low valleys..you have fought demons..and you have struggled for simply a sound mind in Christ..you have held on through persecutions..through lies..through deciet..through much heartbreak..through many sickness..through depression..come on guys..think about it this morning..think about what all the Lord our God has done in your life..then you think about your choices this day..your decisions this day..and then you personally ask yourself is it worth it to turn around and live in that former way?..that old way?..Amen!”

“Because you know once you get your answer to them questions then the ball is in your court so to speak..to keep it there..not to get off course..but determined with everything in you to stay there..to live there for the Lord..not your flesh..not what you want..but truly denying self and again picking up your cross and following the Lord..(Matthew 16:24/Luke (9:23)..Hallelujah..for He alone is the way of life..and our truth of life..(John 14:6)..Hallelujah..and without Him we are treading down a broken pathway one that only leads to defeat and much heartache..and destruction..and the end is death..for the wages of sin is death..(Romans 6:23)..Amen..so don’t forget where you’ve come from..and don’t forget what all the Lord has already broken off from you and your life..because the enemy blinds us to forgetting and not remembering the real true blue old ways..and if we fail to remember exaclty the truth about that old way..then we are gonna be in a mess of life guys..so trust the Lord..stay close to Him..redeem your time..because the days are truly evil..(Ephesians 5:16)..Amen..so be smart..be wise..be everything that God our Father needs for you to be shining as bright as brightly as you can for Him and His glory..Amen!”
