“So I lost my oldest sister two years ago to suicide..she battled and fought depression for many years in her life..and she was a happy filled child of God..but somewhere along the way depression came to her door..and nothing helped her..no matter how many churches she went too..no matter how many times she was prayed for..it helped for but a moment then it didn’t..Amen..she was in a major battle in her mind..and I know that God heard her..and I know that it was her mindset..because how many of you know that God doesn’t over power our own will..Amen..and I am saying all of this because this morning I feel that many in this life..well actually ALL of us in this life are in a constant battle..and our minds are again where we win or lose..and the enemy fights us in our minds..what we dwell on..what we think on..Amen..it is no game whatsoever..when you are a child of God..because the enemy’s goal is for us to believe what he says about us and our lives..he wants us to be defeated in any way that he can..and it starts by our thinking..and so I read my devotion this morning and it said this..we have to shift our thoughts to what is true..right..lovely..and of a good report what is right now in front of us that is most excellent..and when we do it helps us to stay focused on the right here and now in our lives..Amen!”

“For scripture says this..Finally, brothers and sisters, whatsoever is true, whatsoever is noble, whatsoever is right, whatsoever is pure, whatsoever is lovely, whatsoever is of a good report..if anything is excellent or praiseworthy..think about them things..(Philippians 4:8)..Praise the Lord..so we must guard our minds..always and forever..don’t dwell on the what if’s of life..don’t dwell on the negative..don’t let the enemy steal anything from you..because you give him one ounce of anything that you are he keeps taking and taking from you..little by little..Amen..not all at once so never think that is his goal..it’s just a little bit here and little bit there..until he has taken and taken from you..your joy..your peace..your happiness..your well being..your mind..Amen..and we win or lose there once again guys in our minds..so we must guard them always..and immediately pay attention to how we’re feeling..pay attention to what we’re dwelling and thinking on..and turn that channel so to speak..and let us look around us at the right now in our lives..look at our blessings..look at what we have right in front of us..and then let us live right now in our moments that God has given to us..Praise the Lord!”

“So I say this because I know first hand how important it is for each of us..because my sisters passing will never be taken in vain..but I will use it as a tool to help others to the best of my ability to help them in their lives..Praise the Lord..so I pray we all believe the report of the Lord and what He alone speaks over us and our lives every day..(Isaiah 53:1)..I pray we encourage ourselves in the Lord and daily so..(1 Samuel 30:6)..I pray we seek Gods face daily..(1 Chronicles 16:11)..that we draw from Him all we need for this day that we’ve been given..Amen..we have to again stay sober minded for the word says the enemy walks about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour..(1 Peter 5:8)..Amen..as for my sister I know she is in heaven..Praising her Father..King Jesus..for I have had three wonderful dreams of my sister since her passing..and each one is so full with beauty and love..and happiness and joy..Praise the Lord..so today by all means never separate yourself from your family and friends..never stop going to church..never stop doing your life..and stay in community with others..and never be so proud that you don’t reach out and ask for help when you need it..so let us think on whatsoever is in our lives..and let us all always stay mindful of our mental health..for it is more important than anything..it helps us to move and grow and live a life to the most fullest..Amen!”
