“So this morning at church our pastor was finishing up in the book of Hebrews..we’ve been in this study since the beginning of January..Amen..but his message was one beautiful message to us all indeed..Amen..for he says this..satan doesn’t need you and I to deny the Lord..he wants us to forget Him..Amen..in other words we as Gods children all to well forget and lose sight of where our help comes from in our lives..we get distracted..we don’t focus..and we don’t pray..and in the middle of whatever we’re facing and going through we don’t do as we are supposed to be doing which is fixing our eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God..(Hebrews 12:2)..Amen..because the Lord is better and greater than anything in this life..He is above it all..no matter what the all is that we’re facing or going through..because we all have something..that is trying to weigh us down..to maybe even taking us completely out..Amen..it says that satan wants us to be isolated because our faith falters in the isolation..but he convinces us that it is the best place that we can be..trying to make us believe that no one cares anyways..Amen..but in all reality our faith flourishes in community..as the word says iron sharpens iron so another mans friend sharpens his countenance..(Proverbs 27:17)..Praise the Lord!”

“But I am saying all of this because if we don’t keep our eyes fixed on the Lord then our vision becomes blurry..and we forget all that God has done and did for us..but in Him and through Him we gain all we need every single day of our lives..because in Gods presence everything changes..(Exodus 33:14/Psalms 16:11/Psalms 27:8)..Praise the Lord..because this is the thing guys..our lives are moving in the direction of where we fix our gaze..Amen..so think about that for a moment..think about what it is and where it is that you alone are fixing your eyes..and wherever it is that you are fixing them on that is the way your life will go..for you follow what you have already set in your mind through your vision into your heart to follow..Amen..and that is a dangerous place..because our hearts are deceitful above all else..(Jeremiah 17:9)..and why?..because we get into what we want and what we think is best..Amen..we get into feelings and all of these emotions..but we cannot live there in those places..because they will take us every which direction..like a yoyo..Amen!”

“But when we go to truth..which is Jesus Christ our Lord..and we fix our gaze..and our eyes on Him..then we walk and go in the direction that God places in our minds and hearts..He says He will lead us and show us the way..Amen..because life is a race as Hebrews explains to us all..but we are to RUN our race..the scripture says..Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us..(Hebrews 12:1)..Praise the Lord..so my heart and prayer this day for us all is that our vision stays clear that each of us stay sober minded..(Titus 2:6/1 Peter 5:8-9)..and that we watch the Lord like we do our children at a swimming pool when their young babies..Praise the Lord..we guard our vision with everything in us..that we never forget just where it is that our help comes from which is Jesus Christ the Maker of heaven and earth..(Colossians 1:16-20)..Hallelujah..for only when we keep our eyes gazed and fixed on Him do we live well lives..we run great races..and we stay the path and the course..holding fast to the hope of glory which is in you and I..Amen!”
