“So I heard this lady say this yesterday and that was..Be careful who you vent to because vents always lead to other rooms..Amen..and I had never heard that statement before concerning gossip..but I know that Erik always says to me what he learned in Sunday school class growing up..and he said they did this acting out about gossip and how it spreads to be a huge lie and it never comes back to how the story truly is..because others always add lib to it to make it extra special and juicy..Amen..but he says they all got in the floor in a circle..and the teacher spoke something to the first student..and that student was to go to the person beside him and tell the same thing..Amen..but they continue through the class till it got back to the teacher and what was said from the teacher had nothing to do with what he said from the start of the whole thing..and the whole story and statement was changed..Amen..so anyways when I heard that I thought about what the lady said be careful who you vent to because vents always lead to other rooms..Amen..but again gossip is a terrible thing..and especially when we are just talking about people..and what we’ve heard..or we are talking about their shortcomings in their lives..or maybe a trial that they are going through..because the bible has a whole lot to say about a gossiper..Amen..it says that a froward man sows strife..and whisper separates friends..(Proverbs 16:28)..it says to us that he that goes about being a talebearer revealing secrets..it says we should not meddle with them that flatters with their lips..(Proverbs 20:19)..it says that if any man seems to be religious but bridles not his tongue..he deceives himself and the mans religion is vain..(James 1:26)..Amen!”
“It as well says where there is no wood the fire goes out..the same as where there is no talebearer the strife ceases..(Proverbs 26:20)..it tells us that we are to let no corrupt communication proceed out of our mouths..only that which is good to edifying that it may minister grace to the hearers..(Ephesians 4:29)..it tells us that a wholesome tongue is a tree of life..but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit..(Proverbs 15:4)..it tells us in God’s word that whosever keeps his mouth and tongue keeps his soul from troubles..(Proverbs 21:23)..Praise the Lord..it says that our tongues are little members but they boast great things..behold how great a matter a little fire it kindles..(James 3:5)..it tells us that pleasant words are as a honeycomb..sweet to the soul and health to our bones..(Proverbs 16:24)..so my prayer for us all this day is this once again the great and golden rule treat others the way that you, yourself wants to be treated..and speak of others the way that you, yourself would want to be spoken of..Amen..so my prayer for us all is that we ask of the Lord to set a watch before our mouths..and ask of Him to keep the doors of our lips..(Psalms 141:3)..Amen..let us not add to anything that anyone has spoken..and if someone confides in us in a critical moment in time in their lives..whatever we do I pray we don’t run with it to spread a fire of gossip about them..but much rather that we all would be wise and love them and pray for them..for gossip stops and ends when it hits the ears of a wise man..(Proverbs 11:13)..Praise the Lord..and I pray we all are wise..and that we all overcome the temptation to always speak and tell what we ourselves have been told..Amen!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
