“Use your Gift!”

“I do know that we all have been gifted with many special gifts and talents from the Lord..and they’re for us to be mindful of them and to be very mindful to use them..whatever in the world they may be..Amen..for some are a helper they just love to help people..for others they are great leaders..for others they are fantastic listeners..Amen..for some they teach well..for some they are excellent caregivers..Amen..and of course guys we know that this list goes on and on..but this morning I remember a man that I had met a few years back while at work..and he was known as the music man..Amen..but as well he had done great things in his life for the Lord..him and his wife we’re retired missionaries..but as they stepped away from that they stepped over into volunteer work for ‘Meals on Wheels’ a service that delivers meals to the elderly and so they did this for over 15 years..but his wife had some health issues so they stepped away from that as well..but there is so much more to this man and his wife and their life..and I really don’t want to try to tell what was told to me..for I may not tell it right..Amen!”

“But my point of saying all of this is that we all have something to give to others..we all have something we can share in this world in which we live with what we have and with where we are at..Amen..it may seem small the gift..or it could be super big..but you know the people that usually are behind the scenes so to speak are the ones that do great things..Amen..for sometimes we think we are getting overlooked and or not appreciated in the job that we do..and so we stop maybe doing what we are gifted or called to be doing..and we sit down or maybe slack back a little in doing a job well done..but I just want to encourage us all..that the work we do is done from the heart of our lives..and everything we do is because we have been gifted and abled to do them..Amen..and sometimes we feel a whole lotta ways in our lives..but as well how many of you know we don’t go by our feelings..Amen..for our feelings and emotions would get us in trouble..Amen..but we go by facts and truth in the work that we do..and as the word says everything we do in our lives we do all for the glory of God..(Colossians 3:17)..Amen..and as well the word says that whatsoever our hands finds to do..we do it heartily unto the Lord not unto man..knowing that of the Lord we will receive our reward and inheritance..for it is the Lord that we serve..(Colossians 3:22-24)..Amen!”

“So back to the gentleman that I had met..his name was Henry..aka (Hank)..and he was 90 years old..Amen..and he started with the ‘Meals on Wheels’ when he was 75..Praise the Lord..and worked at this faithfully for 15 years..that is incredible to me..Amen..because we all know as we get older we get more aches and pains in our bodies..but I tell you the commitment and the faithfulness to the Lord in his life has shown and shined so brightly..Amen..because him and his wife truly had denied themselves and I’m not sure if they are still alive but I believe that if they are they are still denying themselves and picking up their crosses and following the Lord..(Matthew 16:24)..Amen..so I just want us all to remember Henry and his wife as we go about our day..let us not forget the gifts and talents that Jesus has given to us..and let us not make excuses in our lives as to why we can’t do this or that..Amen..for we all need what someone else has to offer and give..and we all know that every good and perfect gift comes down from our Father in whom is in heaven and there is no shadow of turning with..Praise the Lord..(James 1:17)..so we do what we can with what we have..and we use what we’ve been blessed with from the Lord our God..Amen..for this is my heart and it is my prayer for us all..Amen!”

“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤
