“We all have heard that if we change the way we look at things, that way we look at things change..Amen..but I have to say this morning..that the way I think about it..is this..the way you look at people change the way you see them..because you see most of the time people always look at the outward appearance of others..and than they decide whether or not they are worthy of their time..their attention..or even their friendship..Amen..could go even further..to them deciding if they even deserve kindness..or practically for that matter anything..because we kinda live in this day and age as to where we hang out and go around and even speak to them ones that are like us..Amen..for we feel that we don’t have anything in common anyways..so we walk right past others..we turn our head away not ever to see them..or ever acknowledge them..so again I go back to the mere fact of this..when we change the way we look at people..the way we look at them changes..the way we see them..Amen!”

“Because first and foremost the bible says that we all are made in the image of God..(Genesis 1:27)..secondly I know that everyone is broken..somewhere in their lives..everyone is facing something..thirdly is this they are someones mom, dad, sister, brother, grandma, grandpa..they belong to someone..Amen..fourthly is that great rule so to speak that says treat others the way you want to be treated..fifthly I think about King David and at how God anointed him and called him..for He sent Samuel to do this task..and Samuel didn’t know who it was..the Lord told him though that he should not consider his appearance or his height..for He says I do not look at the things as people look at them..for people look at the outward appearance, but I the Lord looks at their heart..(1 Samuel 16:1-13)..and sixthly I will say that there is great potential in everyone..so choose to see them through eyes of love..choose to speak and be kind..for someone needs you today..someone needs someone just to recognize them..speak to them..acknowledge them..for we all have a story..so let us care enough to hear the story..because when we know more than what we see..its like uncovering a jewel in the life of someone else..but as well it enlightens our eyes and opens them up to understanding..Amen!”

“And seventhly I will leave us all with this great scripture from the word of God which says this..”Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without even knowing it..(Hebrews 13:2)..Amen..so today I pray we all choose to look around with our eyes wide open to the ones in whom God has placed in our lives..and in our pathway in which were walking upon..making a difference..just a smile goes a very long way..just a kind word speaks volumes..just as I say seeing them differently than the way they look..than the way they act..everything..just outweighing it all and choosing to do as the Lord would do and have for us all to do..Amen..once again loving all as we journey along not merely few in this beautiful thing that we all call life..Amen!”
