“Isn’t it something at how anytime we ever try and do anything new or even something we’ve always done that at times we will immediately respond within our own minds..but what if?..and then we add all of the what if’s..and those what if’s usually are very negative ones and fearful ones that come along with it..Amen..but what if I fail..but what if they don’t like me..but what if I lose it all..but what if the decision is a wrong one..but what if I never have this opportunity again..but what if I make a complete mess of things..but what if the money doesn’t come..and on and on we go to what if this and that as to where fear grips the very life out of us as to where we never just take a leap of faith..we never enjoy what we have right now in our laps so to speak..we never do anything different..we just simply remain the same all for the but what if’s..Amen..but I came this morning to remind us all that God has not given a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind..(2 Timothy 1:7)..and as well He tells us do not fear for I am with you..I will strengthen you and uphold you with my right hand of righteousness..(Isaiah 41:10)..for He says have I not commanded you?..to be strong and courageous..do not be afraid neither be dismayed for I am with you whitersoever thou goest..(Joshua 1:9)..Amen..for He says to us do not fear those who can kill the body but cannot kill the soul..Amen..but He says rather fear him who can destroy both the soul and the body in hell..(Matthew 10:28)..Amen!”

“So this day know that your name is written in the Lambs book of life..and only Jesus is to be feared more so than anything or anyone in our lives with a reverence fear..Amen..so do not let fear hold you back and keep you from living your best life simply for asking yourself the same ole questions of but what if?..Amen..and if you must then change that negative to a positive what if and tell yourself what if it all changes exactly the way I’ve been wanting it too..what if this day is the day that it all falls into place..Amen..for with God on our side and with God in our lives and always with us then we have a beautiful and most glorious ending to the but what if’s that may be there presented to us..Amen..again perfect love cast out all fear..because fear has torment and he that fears is not made perfect in love..(1 John 4:18)..and love is God..(1 John 4:8)..and when we have God we have no reason to fear..we move beyond fear into love..and our but what if’s are filled with perfect love and perfect endings..so let us live fearless in this thing we all call life not being afraid of the unknown but rather being fearless and choosing life and choosing to live it well..taking risk and taking those big leaps of faith that simply can change everything for you and I..Amen!”
