“For the most part all of us has the attitude of show me how and I can do it..it’s not a problem..not a big deal..Amen.and we like to free sail so to speak..we like to do us and our lives the way we want too..we really don’t like rules..we really don’t want anyone to tell us what to do..because if you haven’t heard it yet before long you will and that is..I already know..that is the most common thing that others will say when you want to give advice..or try and give help..they’ll immediately respond as I already know..so in case even if they really don’t already know they dismiss what is trying to be taught to them because they have it all figured out in their lives..and they are maybe a little stubborn so they don’t hear what is being spoken to them..and they go on they’re merrily way..Amen..but as well this is just my thoughts and opinion for us all when it comes to the Lord..we do the same thing..we will have what we think is the way it is and we live there..regardless if it is completely wrong..we still think in our minds that were right..and so we never hear the truth..and never open our minds to what the holy spirit of God is trying to say because as I say we like to do our lives the way we want..we don’t want anyone not even the Lord to correct us..because as I say, we already have it all figured out..we do not want or need help..Amen!”

“But what happens when we continue on that roadway of not receiving correction or help?..well, a lot of things do..we end up places we never want to be at in our lives..we end up in situations that could have been avoided..and we end up starting all of over again where we had already been..right back at the beginning..Amen..because we all need help and each of us need correction..the word of God says that whom He loves He corrects..(Hebrews 12:6/Proverbs 3:12)..Amen..just as a parent corrects their child that is the same the Lord does with us..all because just as we say we correct because we love them and we want only the best for them..we don’t want them in rough spots in their lives..dealing with things that they have no business dealing with..I’m sure you as well heard your parent say to you..I am doing this because I love you..when they were correcting you..and maybe giving you a little whippin’..Amen..so I wonder why we get this way as to being so much on guard?..so much as a know it all?..and so much of this person that doesn’t want anyone to say anything?..even if they are right and they are only trying to help?..Amen..could be in any area of our lives..could be in our homes with our spouse..could be in our workplace..could even be in our relationships and friendships with others..I just wonder if we would only open up our ears and hearts to hear what they’re saying to us..what would change and happen our lives?..Amen!”

“Because most of the time we don’t hear what someone is saying and so we pass over it all because were busy and were doing life so we think..but really were not if we don’t hear..if we don’t listen then we are not doing life..were just doing us..and what we think and what we want..and all in all that is a very arrogant and prideful attitude to have..and maybe we don’t even know that we are that person..because how many of you know that its harder to see us as we truly are..now it’s always easy to see others and what they are or how they are..but when it comes to us and who we are..we disregard that..we think were okay..and were good..Amen..we got this thing called life..but today again I would love to challenge us all to take a look at us and who we are..and take a look at our lives and how we live and treat people..and if we do listen..do we hear what others is saying to us?..or do we dismiss it and kind of block it out?..because the word of God says that pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall..(Proverbs 16:8)..and to make a change and to get it together better..all of us have to come to this place in our lives as to where we do not know it all..and we do not have it all together..nor will we ever have it all together..that’s why we need Jesus..Amen!”

“And we need Him daily..for you see the Lord uses people to speak to us..to bare witness with our spirit..Amen..and to teach us the way to go and the way to walk..and the things to do..the things to change..all of it..but if we turn a deaf ear from hearing what someone is saying then we miss it all..we stay where we are at and nothing changes..Amen..so today open your heart and your ears to hear the heart of the Lord for your life..Amen..open your heart and your ears to hear the voice of your spouse and just what it is that they’re trying to say to you?..Amen..open your heart and ears to hear what your co-workers and friends are trying to say to you?..be open to hear..Amen..(Psalm 32:8-10/Psalm 85:8/Micah 6:1)..for in the book of Proverbs as well it tells us to listen to the counsel and accept the correction and discipline for in doing so we become more wise..Amen..(Proverbs 19:20)..we live better lives..Amen..so let us not be those ones in whom know it all..always saying yeah I already know..Amen..but rather just let us hear with our ears wide open and listen with our whole hearts..really taking heed to what is being spoken..not the way we’ve always listened but really listening..Amen..for the Lord says out of the abundance of our hearts our mouths speak..(Proverbs 4:23/Matthew 12:34/Luke 6:45).and you will always know what’s in another persons heart by listening to them and just what it is that their speaking..Amen!”

“So we choose to listen..Amen..we choose I pray this day to be open and listen..and be willing to make changes where needed..and choose to be better than yesterday..and choose to change where change needs to take place..and choose to not think we already know it all..because none of us do know it all..and rather just open to receive the heart and correction when it comes our way..for once again it’s only for our good..and to live a much better life than what we have already been living..Amen!”
