“Ever since the beginning of time way back when we read in the book of Genesis that Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Life which they were forbidden to eat..that sin fell upon mankind..and we know the story of course but we should read it quite often..Amen..for it all starts with that ole serpent..which the Bible says was more subtil than the rest which means he was very sly..crafty..and cunning..Amen..and so he tricked Eve into eating off the tree in which case she knew was commanded from God to not touch..but she did and takes some to her husband to eat as well..Amen..so their eyes were opened and there they were in the midst of the garden afraid because they ate from the tree of good and evil..so they knew right then what they had done..so there comes God to them but first Adam and well Adam blames Eve..and then Eve blames the serpent telling God that he buguiled me..which means that he charmed her in a deceptive and very tricky way..in other words he was a smooth talker..Genesis 3:1-24)..Amen!”

“So at that point every one begins to point fingers and even then no one took responsibility for their own actions and so it began..the fall of mankind..and good and evil starts at that moment..so they were driven out of the Garden of Eden..and the Lord our God placed Cherubims and a flaming sword to keep the way of the Tree of life..(Genesis 3:24)..Amen..but here’s the thing for each of us today..when we don’t hear and listen to Gods voice as He speaks to us then we suffer the consequences of our own actions from our own choosing of being disobedient..just as Adam and Eve were denied the tree of life due to sin..the same with us for sin separates us from God..the Bible says your iniquities have separated you from God..your sins have hidden His face from you..so that He will not hear..(Isaiah 59:2)..Amen..it as well speaks of heaven being shut up and there being no rain because of the people sinning against God..(1 Kings 8:35)..but 2 Chronicles tells us this..If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land..(2 Chronicles 7:14)..Amen!”

“So my heart this morning is this yet once again let each of us help ourselves by helping ourselves to do what we already know in our hearts and our minds that we should be doing..living how we should be living and following Christ Jesus our Lords commands to each of us..whatever that may be..could be a small thing could be a big thing but whatever it is just as with Adam and Eve a tiny little apple they chose to eat..caused so much even to this very day..the greatest act of disobedience lead to such a huge fall on mankind..good and evil fell on us all..and still so this day we battle that sin..we wrestle with it..and just like them they pointed fingers blaming each other for their act of disobedience..just the same that we do today..but just know that without confession of our own wrong doings there is no forgiveness for our sins..(1 John 1:9)..for we must take responsibility and truly be humbled to ask the Lord for His forgiveness over our own choices to sin and disobey..and we are sinning against the Lord our God..our Creator..Amen..but through Him we as children of God gain access to Him and to the Tree of Life which is Jesus our true source of eternal life..(John 6:35/John 10:21)..so let us stay Heavenly minded in our choosing of life..knowing that where our hearts are there as well are our treasures..(Matthew 6:19-21)..Amen!”
