“A few years ago, my family and I went to watch a Monster Truck 🛻 show down in Greensboro, and it was such a fun 🤩 These big trucks were doing amazing stunts, and one truck, in particular, really caught my attention. The name of this truck was Bad News 🗞️ Travels Fast 💨 ..Amen! and I thought to myself, Oh my goodness, isn’t that so true? It seems like when it comes to bad news, people can’t wait to jump on the gossip train and spread it like wildfire 🔥..For some, they rarely speak 🗣️ about anything at all, but when it’s bad news, they’re the first to share it. Amen!
But why are so many people wired that way? Why is it that we focus so much on the bad in life but hardly ever talk about the good? There is so much goodness and so many blessings in our world 🌎 yet we rarely hear 👂 about them. Amen! What about all the good things that happen every single day? For goodness is all around us if we choose to see it. Amen!
Friends, don’t get so caught up in the bad things in life that you fail to see the goodness of the Lord. (Psalm 27:13) says, “I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Amen!
We are a blessed people. Yes, bad things happen, but good things happen too. Don’t lose sight of that. Amen! Don’t forget to see the blessings that surround us. Praise the Lord! He is fighting for us (Exodus 14:14). He is for us and will never abandon us (Hebrews 13:5). He will never leave us (Deuteronomy 31:6). He is always with us, working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). Amen!
The Lord makes a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:16). He is our healer ❤️🩹(Exodus 15:26) and our deliverer. Praise the Lord! He has done great works in so many lives and continues to do so daily. The Lord has brought about freedom and transformation for countless people. He has blessed many with new jobs, careers, and fresh beginnings. He has opened doors 🚪 for the homeless, providing food and shelter. Amen!” 🙏🏻
There is so much good in our world if we would only open our eyes 👀 to see it. Amen! Let’s seek out the good instead of constantly focusing on the bad. Amen! So, how about we all agree to stop spreading bad news so quickly and start sharing the good news instead? Amen!
