“Worry is one of those things that begins when we start overthinking—overthinking everything. Usually, it’s about the future, not so much about the day we’re currently in, but about what lies ahead. Amen. We begin to worry and overthink to the point where we lose our peace, and instead, we fall into fear, imagining the worst possible outcomes. This leaves us in a mess. We lose our joy and happiness. We lose sight of the moment God has given us—the day we’ve been blessed with—all because we dwell on what’s ahead and what we think we need to do.
We become overwhelmed, upset, and discouraged. We cry, we complain—even if only to ourselves in our thoughts. Amen. Before we know it, we’re spiraling down a rabbit hole, digging ourselves deeper into misery. Not only do we make our own day unbearable, but we can also affect the people around us. Amen.
I just came this morning to remind us all that we are not meant to worry about tomorrow. We are not meant to overthink and make ourselves miserable. Instead, we are to trust in the Lord. Amen. We must remember that the enemy is a liar and that God is faithful. He works all things together for our good. He has always been good to us and always on time. Amen.
We serve a good God. Amen. He is with us, our provider, deliverer, helper, peace, joy, happiness—our everything. The Word tells us: Do not worry about your life—what you will eat, what you will drink, or what you will wear. It reminds us that if God clothes the grass of the field and feeds the sparrows, how much more will He take care of us? O you of little faith. (Matthew 6:25-33)
So let us have faith. Let us trust God and believe in His Word. Let us enjoy this day He has given us, allowing nothing to steal our peace or joy. Amen.
For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray. Amen and Amen. Be blessed today my dear sweet friends, and wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
