”Wisdom!”

As I reflect on my life, I can finally say there is peace in it. Amen. For years, peace was something I didn’t have. My life was filled with constant drama—not from my husband or my son, but from others around me. No matter how hard I tried to make friends, it just wouldn’t work. Something would always happen to cause offense, and I found myself in a continuous cycle of praying, crying, and feeling upset. I tried to fix the situations, to change myself to fit their expectations and interpretations of who they thought I was. I walked on pins and needles, unsure of how to respond, what to say, or how to act around them. Amen!

And being a child of God made it even harder, as I was always mindful to express myself in a way that represented the Lord. For years, I lived like this, believing I needed people in my life—friendships and fellowship—even when it was difficult. Yet the drama and pain persisted until one day, I had enough.

I turned to the Lord, drawing closer to Him in prayer. I surrendered it all to Him. Then, I picked myself up and carried on, realizing not everyone needed to come along with me. Amen.

Here’s what I’ve learned: God never made us to be doormats. He never calls us to remain in unhealthy relationships. While forgiving others is essential (Matthew 6:14-15), wisdom helps protect us from being hurt repeatedly (Proverbs 4:7-9). When people reveal their true colors, we must take heed. Most of the time, their feelings and behavior toward us won’t change.

Once you understand this, you gain the strength to separate yourself from drama, hurt, or situations that make you feel inadequate or like you have to tiptoe around others. God doesn’t want any of us to be mistreated in any way. Jesus is our truest, most faithful friend. Amen.

Go where you are celebrated, not where you are merely tolerated. I have many acquaintances, but I don’t allow myself to be hurt anymore. I go places alone or with my husband and son, and you know what? I have peace in my life, and I cherish it. Amen.

When you realize you don’t always need others, that you can enjoy your own company, your life begins to flourish in new ways. Never let anyone mistreat you—you are worth far more than that. Your peace is your most valuable possession. Amen.

For it is in His name ,Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen & Amen..Be blessed today my dear friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
