”I think somewhere along the way in life the act of listening has truly got thrown by the curb so to speak..it’s like when someone is trying to speak that others don’t just listen to them..they have their minds immediately thinking of a response to say to the person..Amen..and in doing so fail to hear the persons heart..and what it is their trying to say to you..because if someone is speaking to you personally then that means that person respects you..and that person trust and loves you..Amen..but when you respond with what your life has been through or what you’ve gone through..and simply give some grand idea of what you think they need to do or maybe ridicule a minute about their choices or what maybe got them in the place their in..then it shuts the other person down..to where they really don’t need an answer or for you to do anything they just simply wanted a listening ear..Amen!”

”For I have heard a pastor say once that the good Lord gave us two ears to hear with and yet only one mouth to speak with..so that should give us more of a reason to listen and hear what’s being said to us..and that we should listen more then we are speaking..for listening is such a gift..for we all love someone who hears us..Amen..hears what we are saying..because we all just wanna be heard..but again there are seasons where sometimes your quietness and listening ear is more help then any thing else in this world..(Ecclesiastes 3:1-8)..Amen..so if others are trusting you to hear them..then by all means hear what their saying to you..and do so without thinking of some grand response..for most of the time they already know what needs to be done again they just want to be heard..as we all simply want to be heard in life..but when we don’t hear and don’t listen and begin judging and making statements about your own life and turning it somehow on you and your life it makes the other people feel less inadequate..Amen..and it is kinda selfish on any of our parts to do so..Amen!”

”Because it’s not a competition..it’s about being compassionate..and loving them in their moment of life that they need a friend and a ear more so then a response or answer..Amen..because most of the time that’s why others just shield away..for lack of communication and lack of understanding and respect for others when they need someone in a moment in their lives..Amen..so today I pray we all hear whatever anyone is speaking to us..and that we understand there doesn’t always have to be an opinion or an answer given they just need you..to hear..to be a friend and to simply listen to their heart without them having fear or judgement..Amen..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen & Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
