”Think, Plan, Act!”

“The key to everything is simply to obey, listen, and quit starting over. Amen. The Lord wants us to follow through with His commands. Amen. We live in a time where it feels easy to believe we can live however we want, doing our own thing, and it doesn’t really matter because God loves us. Amen. And while that is true, God still needs to know that we will follow through with what He wants. Think about it. All the people in the Bible that God used tremendously—Amen—He gave each of them specific instructions. Amen.

If they hadn’t listened or obeyed, things would not have turned out the way they did. Amen. Even Jesus had to obey His Father. Amen. He obeyed all the way to the cross, where He suffered and died so that you and I could be free (1 Peter 3:18), to whoever would believe (Romans 10:13). Amen. That was His calling—the mission that the Lord God ordained for our freedom. God sent His only Son to suffer and die for us (John 3:16-17). Amen. That was not easy; it was the most painful act imaginable. But the Lord listened and obeyed, saying, ‘I must be about my Father’s business’ (Luke 2:49). Amen. Even when He prayed, ‘If it be Your will, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not my will, but Yours be done’ (Matthew 26:39). Amen.

This morning, I think about so many who have been called by the Lord and could do great things for Him and for the world. But somehow, self and flesh get in the way. Instead of listening and following through, they fall short of what God desires. Amen. They think they can live and act like the world and still carry the anointing of God in their lives. Amen. But that is simply not so. Amen.

We are called to be different. Somewhere along the way, people should be able to see and know there is a change in us, that we are truly living for God’s approval, following His still, small voice. Many people get so far, then stop and go back to the same things they know in their hearts God has forbidden. They justify their actions, changing God’s commands to fit their own sinful habits. But consider this: what if you are the one God has chosen to preach His Word, to sing His praises, to shine His light in a unique way? Imagine if you are the one gifted by God to help humanity, to bring peace, to comfort the broken? We are all gifted, and when we fail to follow through, we stop everything from becoming what God intended. We need to be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58). Amen.

There is too much to gain to risk losing it all. God has called us to preach the gospel to the poor, to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim deliverance to the captives, to restore sight to the blind, and to set free those who are oppressed (Luke 4:18). Amen. We know where God has gifted us and called us. So my heart and prayer are simply this: follow through with your gifts, talents, and anointing to make a difference in our world. Amen. Each of us has something special to give, and when we all do our part, the world changes for the better. Amen.

For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray. Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends, and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi.”
