”Lord Change Me!”

“I know for me that I desire so much to be closer to the Lord in my life..I don’t want to just grow used to what I already know..or should I say get lazy in my relationship with Christ..for how many of you know that we never see ourselves the way that we truly are..we see ourselves the way we want to see ourselves..but a lot of times we overlook ourselves and our actions..all the while noticing everyone else’s..Amen..somehow we focus our attention more on others than ourselves..in which case is never a good thing..because if we do this we overlook us..and we justify our actions..and as well we don’t work on us we try to work on others..which again how many of know that we cannot change others..period..Amen..we can’t change anyone in any situation other than ourselves and how we are..Amen!”

“But this morning I was sitting here thinking about my life..and my relationship with the Lord..and at where I am..to where I wanna be..because I don’t want to be the same I was last year at this time..but I want to be growing and growing up in Christ..always..and I do this as I say working on myself in life..being real with myself..being real and honest when I kneel to pray before the Lord..because somehow we feel that God overlooks our petty actions..our mouths..should I say..our responses..how we treat people..how we treat families and friends..how we live our lives..not saying that I live bad..but I am saying I know me..and I know that I can and should be doing better..because to make a change I know I have to be the change that I am wanting to see in this world in which I live..and in my life that I live..Amen!”

“And I do that by changing..not staying the same..to the way I respond to things..to the way I talk about things..to everything..Amen..because sometimes I think we all should get a little radical for the Lord..and maybe step back into the waters of being baptized again..maybe staying on our faces until we know that we know that we have truly been with the Lord..and in His presence..changing the way we do things other than doing them the same..asking the Lord to stir us back to Him and having a fear of Him as we did when we first believed and begun our journey with Him..asking Him to be give us back our first love which was Him and only Him..for we reverenced the Lord..we were sensitive to the Lord and His speaking to us..we desired nothing more than to please Him..we didn’t miss church..we didn’t ever fail to pay our tithes..we always spend time with loved ones..we always chose to reach and help the needy and the poor..we considered others other than ourselves and our own lives..Amen!”

“For I always reminded of the scripture that says this..”This know that in the last days perilous times shall come..For men shall be lovers of their ownselves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away..(2 Timothy 3:1-5)..Amen..but my heart this very day and this very morning is that we ourselves do better with our lives..we quit looking at others and trying to change them..but that we work on our homes..we make sure that we are living well with our Lord and Savior..that we are not just going with the flow..doing what we want..and rejecting what Jesus wants..but that we get stirred up by the holy ghost of God and that we begin to change and we begin to flow ever so carefully with the Lord..listening, hearing and choosing to respond..not living for ourselves..but truly and honestly living for Christ..and Him alone..making and difference in this world in which we live..and that always begin with you and with me..for that is what life, each of our lives should be about..Amen!”

For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
