”So last night I had texted a lot of my friends this question and asked them what they thought should be preached more about behind the pulpits of our churches..and many came back with excellent answers indeed..because as I say no answer is a wrong answer when it comes to Gods house and His word and being taught in general about life and living and how to grow while we are here in this world that we live..Amen!”
”So the biggest one was love..many said that our society has grown calloused to loving others..that hearts have grown hardened..that they are rushing constantly..there is so much coldness..anger..jealousy..strife..unforgiveness..hatred within our society that we don’t know how to love people any more..and how many of you know that it is all about love..(1 Corinthians 13:1-12)..Amen..another one was talking about walking in integrity without compromise..said there is so much spiritual warfare..but as well man made warfare and that we need to be taught how to stand in our integrity without compromising..Amen!”
”Many said that we should start back to the basics of Jesus and teach who He is and why He came..give the congregation the life of our Lord and Savior..Amen..many said the coming of Christ that it should be preached on more behind the pulpit..Amen..because the Bible says that the Lord is gonna come like a thief in the night that we should be ready and waiting..(1 Thessalonians 5:2)..Amen..many said that the altars in the church should be opened back up again..to asking the congregation to come down if they have a need in their lives to receive prayer..and for salvation..asking if the ones that are there know Jesus..as their Lord and Savior..Amen!”
”Another great one was how to teach the congregation how to treat new comers the babes in Christ if you will..making them feel welcomed and loved..(1 Corinthians 3:1)..Amen..another was preaching and teaching more on the lines of our finances and how to budget and manage our money that we do receive and work hard for..how to be a giver and not always taking from others..being caring and compassionate towards everyone..helping where you can..Amen..being appreciated was another great one..giving respect where respect and credit should be given..(John 3:22-36/Romans 13:7)..Amen..letting everyone know you appreciate what they do..Amen!”
”Another excellent one was the clothes that people wear..Amen..they said it isn’t a fashion show..or some tv reality show..but it is about life and death..Amen..for in doing so their starving people hungry from the word that their hearts need..Amen..another said they don’t have the fancy clothes or the money to purchase them..so they feel they don’t fit in so instead of feeling welcomed to go to the Lords house they stay home instead..they said they need to help us along the way..not scare us away..Amen..and that really got my heart strings..Praise the Lord..another great friend says that it should be taught more about other cultures and how they live and help them to understand just how much they themselves truly have to be more thankful and content in their lives that they have been blessed with..Amen!”
”Another dear friend said they need to preach more about the Holy Ghost and being filled with the Holy Ghost of God..for it is our helper in life..for Jesus said it is expedient that I go and return to my Father so that I can send you down the Holy Ghost..(John14:26/John 16:7-16)..Amen..and I could honestly go on and on..but I do think you all get my point here this morning..Amen..so I do pray that our churches preach and teach well their congregations that they have..that they realize it is a big deal to do so..and they understand that they are the Shepherd over their congregation for we are considered the sheep..Amen..so holdfast to your sheep..protect them..guard them..love them and teach them well..for it is honestly about life and death..Amen!”
”For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen & Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
