“Growing for Jesus is a constant challenge at times. Amen. Growing for Jesus can lay snares in your path, bringing many trials and temptations. Growing for Jesus is full of mountaintop experiences, but there are also many valleys we must walk through (Psalm 23:4). Praise the Lord! What I know is that growing for Jesus never stops. We never reach a place where we can say, ‘I’ve made it.’ Amen!

Growing for Jesus, as I say, is a constant process. We will be tested, and we will face many challenges. There will be times when we look around and wonder, ‘How did I get here?’ That’s because we often forget we have a target on our backs—we are always being targeted by the enemy. When we start to think we don’t need to do this or that, or that we don’t need to pray daily or read our Bibles, that’s when we begin to drift. The Bible calls it backsliding (Proverbs 14:14), and it can happen slowly, causing us to fall away. Amen!

But I want us all to know that growing for Jesus is a journey we must walk daily with the Lord. If we find ourselves swaying or falling away, all we have to do is stop, turn around, and return to where we left off. Start again with the Lord, because a righteous person may fall seven times, but they rise again (Proverbs 24:16). Amen! The Bible also says, ‘Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them out of them all’ (Psalm 34:19). Praise His name!

So remember, we are all on a path with the Lord, and each of us must walk it daily. We must consider our lives, our choices, and our decisions. We need to be open and honest with ourselves: Are we growing for Jesus, or are we falling away? Are we backsliding, or are we where we need to be in our walk with the Lord? If not, we can start today. We can choose better today. Grab hold of the Lord’s hand, and begin again on your journey with Him. No matter what has happened or what hasn’t, the Lord is always waiting for us. He loves us, He is for us, and He never turns us away.

So keep growing for Jesus. Amen. Stay the course, stay on the path, and keep going. Keep growing! Amen. I pray all of this in His name, Jesus’ name. Amen and Amen.
