“I know that during hard times and many disappointments in life, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and to doubt whether we’ll ever get through them. Amen. When we’re in the midst of life’s storms, it’s hard to see the sunshine, and it’s hard to find the good when everything seems to be falling apart around us. But I want to encourage you today. I’ve been through storms myself; I’ve faced heartaches, disappointments, and dark days. I’ve felt their weight, and I know how hard they are to endure. Those difficult days are not fun, to say the least, and they are certainly not easy. But I also know that it’s during those cold, dreary days, when it felt like no one was there or understood how I felt, that I found out who Christ our Lord truly is. Amen!

We all have to face the valleys of life because it is in the valley that we grow and mature in ways we never thought possible. You see, God wants us to be strong in Him, for the scripture says, ‘Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might’ (Ephesians 6:10). Amen. We need to know Him, to understand that He is everything He says He is in His word. Life is not easy, and falling down isn’t fun, but we get up, and we keep fighting for Christ no matter what. Whatever you are going through right now, know that you will come out of it stronger and more beautiful for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Lord humbles us through hard times and keeps us grounded in Him. In Him, we must always abide (John 15:5). But during these tough times, we also come to realize that there is an evil one out there seeking our souls, and he is just as real as the Lord. Amen!

When you go through trials, they bring a reverence and a healthy fear of the Lord. Proverbs tells us, ‘The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom’ (Proverbs 9:10). Amen. We don’t want to experience hardships because of our own selfish ambitions. Amen. We must sow good seeds and plant goodness wherever we go. Sometimes, we face things that seem completely unfair, but trust that God is shaping you through these challenges. When He has refined you by fire, you will come forth as pure gold (1 Peter 1:7). Amen. So, know that God has you in His hands. He is listening to you, He hears you, and He is working all things together for your good. Whatever He’s teaching you, or whatever He’s growing you into, hold on tightly. Don’t let go, and don’t give up.

Keep praying, keep seeking the Lord, and do so daily. Lay your prayers and your needs down at our Father’s feet because He loves us so much. What’s even greater is that He loves us enough not to let us stay the same or die in our selfishness and sins. Amen. We are a work in progress for Jesus, every single day. So hold on, and never give up. It will get better, and I promise you, you will get through this. When you do your part, the Lord always does His. Amen!”
