“This morning, I am reminded of all the people throughout my life who have helped, encouraged, loved, and shown kindness to me. I am forever grateful. I pray that we never forget those who have helped us along the way, and that we never take those moments for granted. Amen. May we always cherish them and remain thankful for them. Amen. Because, in my own journey, it has taken many people to get me to where I am today. Amen. Whether it was a neighbor offering a kind word, family and friends who listened and helped, a teacher during my school years, or a coworker who took the time to pray with me and encourage my walk with the Lord. Amen.
There have been many people—some who sent me cards over the years, others who helped when I needed it the most. Amen. Some were simply there, while others spoke words that will forever be engraved on my heart and mind. The saying goes, ‘It takes an army,’ or ‘It takes a village,’ and both are so very true. Amen. None of us have gotten to where we are in life without the help of someone else. We’ve all had moments when people have come along and said or done exactly what we needed at that time. And in the same way, we have been that person for others. That’s what makes life so beautiful. Amen. None of us get through life alone. We all need each other—support, encouragement, and truth spoken in love. As the Bible says:
‘Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up the other; but woe to the one who is alone when they fall, for there is no one to help them up. Again, if two lie together, they will keep warm, but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevails against another, two shall withstand him, and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.’
—Ecclesiastes 4:9-12..Amen!”
Many people prefer to live their lives alone, but it’s not healthy for any of us to be alone. Amen. We need unity and fellowship with others, daily. The enemy preys on those who are alone, but when we have an army or a village around us, we’re not so easily discouraged in the battles of life. Amen. My prayer today is that we all find our place with others, wherever that might be. Someone needs what we have, just as we need what others have. Amen. This is what makes us strong, helps us grow, and keeps us steadfast in our walk with the Lord.
So be grateful for the people in your life, and always remember those who helped you get to where you are today. Growth never stops, and neither do life’s struggles or trials. That’s why we need people, and why people need us—to help each other along the way. It’s called doing life together, and that’s what makes life beautiful. So be a friend, be a helper, be an encourager, and be a people person. We all need each other. Don’t let the enemy keep you from reaching out and finding your place, because there’s more to life than living it alone. God never intended for us to go through life alone. Know that you need others, and they need you..Amen!”
