“I think about our daily routines, how quickly we can go through our day without taking time to talk with Jesus, without finding a place to pray. And then we begin to run a little dry. By the end of the week, if we continue in this way, our wells of life—so to speak—run dry. We’ve used up every bit of our resources. With the busyness of our lives, we forget to go to the well of the Lord that never runs dry. We should always get filled up. Amen. We should never let our wells run low or dry. John 4:14 says we should be well-watered and always refreshed for the Lord. For we are the Lord’s, and just as we eat our natural food daily, we must also consume spiritual food. Amen. We need that nourishment above all else, for it is the Word of God that sustains us. Amen.
We need time alone with Jesus because that’s where we receive manna from heaven and the strength we need. So, don’t let a single day pass without being in the Lord’s presence. Just like flowers, which may look bright and beautiful on the outside, without water, they begin to dry out on the inside. It’s the same with people. Amen. Some think that if they look good on the outside, all is well within, but that’s not the case. The outward man has nothing to do with the inward man. Mark 7:15. Amen!
You see, the inward man has to be fed so it can grow and be all it needs to be for the Lord. Stay well-watered and well-fed. Don’t ever let your wells run dry, because we need Jesus daily—whether we have a problem or not. We need the Lord, and we need to talk with Him daily because we are in a spiritual war. We must be wise and alert at all times. 1 Peter 5:8. Never let your guard down. Stay full and filled with the Lord, for that is the best nourishment we can give ourselves. When we are well-watered and filled, we can also bless and help others. Amen. So take care of yourself, and keep a close relationship with the Lord. Don’t let yourself get dried up or burned out.
Only you truly know whether or not you are where you need to be. Others may not know, but you do. Amen. Take care of your spirit, for that is what will live on forever. The outward man will perish, but the inward man will live on. 2 Corinthians 4:16. Praise the Lord! Let us strive to be all that we need to be, always giving our best to the Lord, staying cleansed and filled with His Spirit. There’s nothing better in this world than being in the right place in our walk with God. Let us always strive for that, now and forever.
For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray. Amen and Amen.
Be blessed today, my dear friends, and remember, wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, much love to you all, Mandi
