“As we move into the month of October, I often reflect on the seasons in our lives and the changes that come with them. Some of us may not welcome the shift into fall—not because we dislike the season, but because we prefer the warmth and long days of summer. Yet, the truth remains: seasons will change, and change itself is inevitable. Whether we desire it or not, it will happen, as it always does. Amen. We can all look back over our lives and see how much has changed. The Lord is always stirring our hearts, leading us toward growth and forward movement in our walk with Him. Amen!
If we stay where we are, we hinder our growth and forward movement in our faith and in our relationship with Christ. The Bible tells us in the book of Ecclesiastes that there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven. Amen. It says: ‘There is a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace’ (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8). Amen!
So I don’t know what season you’re in right now, but as for me, so much is changing—and I’m at peace with it. Amen. My prayer for you is that you won’t be afraid of the changes in your life, but that you’ll let your faith rise stronger than ever, moving forward in faith rather than fear. Amen. Faith always triumphs, and change, while sometimes hard to understand, is good. Even when it doesn’t make sense, know that God is in control of your life. You are His child, so follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and trust that wherever the Lord is taking you, He has already prepared the way. Amen.
So move forward, trust God, and embrace the seasons of your life. Amen. Each season is beautiful in its own way. I love when my life changes, and I love when the seasons change. It awakens a beauty within us, giving us a fresh perspective on life. It keeps us ready for whatever comes our way. Let us grow and step into this new season with grace and dignity, always trusting in our Lord. Amen!
