“I believe the greatest mission in our lives is that of our families. Amen. If we can accomplish that mission, we’ve done something truly great. Amen. If we can bring order to our homes and our families, imagine the greatness that comes from that. Amen. When we get things right in our marriages, with our children, and within our households, we’ve achieved something extraordinary. Our homes are our responsibility, and they reflect the heart of God. The Bible tells us that our children are gifts (Psalm 127:3-5, Ephesians 5:25), and we are called to set our homes in order (2 Kings 20:1-2). So, if you’re working to build a strong marriage and raising children who listen, love, and obey, that itself is a daily task—a responsibility that never stops. Every day, we rise and get to work on our homes. Amen!
We labor in the space God has given us, tending to the people He has placed in our lives. We live out God’s Word and His ways, building our homes and lives on Jesus, for He alone is our firm and solid foundation. Amen. The Bible says that though the winds and waves may come and beat against our homes, they will not fall because they are built upon the Lord (Matthew 7:24-27). Amen. As we build our homes and lives, we must do so in love. Everything we do should be done with love, placing the needs of others above our own—being the best husband, wife, friend, child, or young adult we can be. We do not grow weary in doing good, but we keep creating the atmosphere we desire in our homes—day in and day out. Once again, I say, love at all times. Do those little things that bring a smile or happiness to your family members, because those small gestures make a world of difference, especially within the walls of our homes.
If you are praying and seeking God’s will and plan for your life, I would say, look no further. Right where you are is God’s plan for you. I would encourage you to get busy working on those who are closest to your heart. Love them, cheer them on, and encourage them every step of the way. Create a loving and peaceful home, because to me, home is the most beautiful thing in this world. Amen!
Our homes are a sanctuary from a dark and, at times, cruel world. So, light the candles, cook that favorite meal, speak kindly, listen attentively, love deeply, forgive and forget, and do your best with what you have. Amen. In doing so, you are fulfilling God’s will for your life and working on the greatest mission you will ever be given. Amen!
So, get busy in your home, sowing good seeds, and helping your family live and achieve their best lives. Family is everything, so never take yours for granted. Speak kindly to them, love them, lift them up, and encourage them to live their best lives. The love and care you give to them will be the love and care they give to others. This is what makes the world a more beautiful and loving place. For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray. Amen and Amen. Be blessed today, my dear friends, and remember, wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father. Much love to you all, Mandi.”
