“Thinking back to a time at work, I remember really needing a bobby pin for my hair. About an hour later, I went into the bathroom, and as soon as I walked through the door, there it was—a bobby pin lying right in the doorway. Amen. I thought, ‘Lord, You care about everything.’ I hadn’t even prayed for that, but You still met my need at that moment. I know it’s just a bobby pin, and it may seem insignificant, but to me, it’s amazing because our Lord and Savior loves us so much and cares about every detail of our lives. Amen.
It doesn’t have to be something big; it can be something as simple as that bobby pin. Yet He still cares enough to meet that need. Scripture tells us, ‘My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus’ (Philippians 4:19). Isn’t it something that I didn’t even ask the Lord, but He still knew? He knows our thoughts, and He provided for me even without me asking. Psalm 139:4 says, ‘Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.’ Amen!
The truth is, God knows what you need. The Word of God says, ‘Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?’ (Matthew 6:25-27).
Why do you worry about clothes? Consider how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If God so clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore, do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them’ (Matthew 6:28-32). Amen!
The Word of God also instructs us to ‘seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own’ (Matthew 6:33-34). Amen.
Wherever you are in your life today, know that Jesus knows exactly what you need, and He will meet all of your needs. We serve a faithful God who has never failed us, and He never will. Let us trust in the Lord and remember that God is able and will take care of His children, for He loves us all with an everlasting ‘Agape’ love. What a Savior we serve! So, let us let go and let God, casting all our cares on Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray. Amen and Amen. Be blessed today, my dear friends, and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father. Much love to you all. Mandi
