“I’ve been watching videos on saving money and trying new meal ideas—how to eat well on a budget. There’s this one lady who prepares meals for an entire week for herself for just $10.32. That’s right, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included! The food looks amazing, too. It’s so inspiring to see someone with such a talent for budgeting and meal planning. I have to admit, I’m not very good at it, but maybe you’re like her and find it easy, or maybe you struggle with it like I do. Either way, her gift not only blesses her and her family but also inspires so many others. That’s incredible to me—to have the ability to motivate and bring new ideas to people that can change their lives in such simple yet profound ways.
But I want to tell someone today: never doubt the things you’re doing as if they don’t matter. Because they do. Everything we do, no matter how big or small, has significance. What you do and the gifts you’ve been given matter—Praise the Lord! We are all being used by our Father in one way or another, even if we don’t always see it or feel like it’s enough. It is enough.
I’m reminded of Rahab. We all know she was a prostitute, but even in her situation, she hid two spies who Joshua had sent to scope out the city of Jericho. Rahab found favor and asked them to spare her and her family when they returned to conquer the city on their way to Canaan. And the men kept their promise—she hung that crimson cord from her window, and when they invaded, they passed by her and her family. They were spared and saved (Joshua 6:25-27). Amen!
So, whatever your role is—whether you’re a doorkeeper, wife, husband, grandma, grandpa, or anything else—what you do is wonderful, and it makes a difference. Don’t compare yourself to others or question your value. We all have gifts to offer, and no matter what they are, they’re important. You’re helping others, whether you realize it or not, and you’re inspiring them too.
So be kind to yourself. Keep being who you are, nothing more, nothing less, because who you are and what you do is more than enough. Amen..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen. Be blessed today, my dear sweet friends..and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, be a light for our Father. Much love to you all.” Mandi
