When I consider my life and the way the Lord has led me and my family, my overarching thought is that God’s timing is perfect. I know we’ve all heard this from time to time in our lives, but if we really think about it and reflect on our experiences, we can see that it’s true: the Lord’s timing is perfect and always has been. Amen. It’s said that the Lord never arrives too early in a situation, nor does He come late. Amen. As His children, we can trust this because the scripture says, “We may make our plans, but God directs our footsteps” (Psalm 37:23 and Proverbs 16:9). Amen. Additionally, it says that when the Lord is ready to close a door or open one for us, He will do so (Revelation 3:7-8). Amen!
You see God is not like man that He would ever lie (Numbers 23:19). God always knows where we need to be and when we need to be there. Amen. He also knows when we’ll be ready for a situation that we’re longing for and waiting to experience. Amen. The subject of perfect timing came to mind this morning of a gentleman carrying two cups of coffee who was heading out of the store as I was heading in. I opened the door for him, and he said to me, “You know, timing is everything.” I replied, “Yes, sir, you are absolutely right; timing is everything.” Amen. Especially God’s perfect timing, for He always works everything together for our good (Romans 8:28), and for the good of each of us. Amen!
God loves each of us personally and knows us intimately. When our Father knows that we’re ready—or when He’s ready for us to receive or obtain what we’re waiting for—it will come to us in the most perfect way. I promise you that. So, let us all wait on God’s perfect timing and His perfect will for our lives. For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray. Amen and Amen.
Be blessed today, my dear friends, and remember: wherever you go and whatever you do, be a light for our Father. Much love to you all, Mandi
