”You make all things new!”

For the most part, I think disappointments begin to happen when we expect things to go a certain way or the way they’ve always gone, but then they don’t. So, we get a little disappointed. Amen. But you see, when we’re following Christ, things don’t always go as they have in the past. Things do change in our lives, and sometimes drastic changes occur. However, these drastic changes bring about new beginnings for us. Amen. Even the Lord tells us in His Word, “Behold, I will do a new thing; Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:19) Amen. God is always changing things up in our lives. He is always placing us where we need to be to reach the destination He has prepared for us. Amen.

Let us never forget that the Lord guides our feet and directs our pathways, and that He is Lord over our lives. Amen. So, we know that when we pray, God hears us and answers us. However, what I want to say to each of us today is that sometimes the way we expect Him to answer is not the way He’ll actually answer us. The way He has done things before might look a little different this time around. So, be open to whatever and wherever the Lord is taking you. The Lord knows the plans He has for us—plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11-13) So, as you pray, keep an open mind and an open heart. Be willing to walk through new doors if they are presented to you. Don’t be quick to discard the newness. Amen. With newness come new opportunities, new vision, new ministry, and new beginnings. Amen.

So, be still and know that God is in control and that our Father loves you. He knows what He is doing. Amen. He is preparing you for the future, and the future looks ever so bright. Amen. I believe it can’t be any other way but bright and beautiful, for God says, “When you delight yourself in Me, I will give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalm 37:4) I’m excited about the desires of my heart and the new things the Lord is getting ready to do in my life and my family’s lives. I pray that you are also excited and completely happy for your and your family’s new beginnings. So, we trust God, we walk in His presence, and we keep Him at the center of it all. Because when He is there, nothing but goodness can chase us down and overtake us. Amen. For we are with our Father, and what a Father He is. So, get ready, be willing, and say yes. In His name, Jesus’ name, that I ask and pray. Amen and Amen. Be blessed today, my dear sweet friends, and remember, wherever you go and whatever you do, be a light for our Father. Much love to you all, Mandi.
