The Word of God says that “ALL things are possible to those who believe” (Mark 9:23). But have you ever noticed how hard it can be for us to truly believe and not doubt? Sure, we believe easily when life is going great—when there’s no sickness, no financial trouble, no hardships. In those moments, our faith is strong, and we speak words of faith without any doubt. But as soon as the heat in our lives turns up or when troubles arise, we start to doubt what God can do in our lives. We begin to live and believe the way the world does, even though we know that God is faithful and has never failed us.
We may go through storms in life, but know that God is in the storm with us. We may face difficulties from time to time, but remember that the Word of God helps us overcome these problems. We should always remind ourselves that “this too shall pass.” Often, we are growing when we’re in the storms of life. Many times, the Lord is teaching us that He is God, and that He is able. Amen!
So, we must stand firm on the Word of God, living by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). We call things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17), for God’s Word will accomplish what it was sent forth to do in our lives (Isaiah 55:11). Know that God is forever the same (Hebrews 13:8). He never changes, even though we might. Whether we are on the mountaintop or in the valley of life, our Lord remains the same. We must believe what God says and never doubt what He can do, for God can do anything. Amen!
We are called to believe always, never speaking negativity over our lives. For by our words, we are justified (Matthew 12:37). So, hold your tongue and instead pray, casting your cares upon the Lord. God hears you, loves you, and will answer you. He will take care of all your problems, whatever they may be. God will give you peace in the midst of any and every storm you face. It’s not about what’s happening around us, but what’s happening within us. Amen!
So, let us walk in victory, always leaning and trusting in Jesus. Be radical in your faith and trust Him no matter what, for God is trustworthy. God is not a man that He would lie (Numbers 23:19). We know that the Lord will help us—He always will. He says, “Call unto Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3). Prayer is the key to all of life’s problems. When we pray, we are talking to God, and He is the one who takes care of any and all situations. I love the song that says, “It’s just amazing what a prayer can do—it’s moved mountains, parted rivers, brought the dead to life again. I’ve called upon an old prayer warrior a time or two. If you’re in trouble, I’ll go down on my bended knees for you, ‘cause it’s just amazing what a prayer can do!” Amen!
Stay in fellowship with the Lord, for when we know we are in fellowship, we know that all is and will be alright in our lives. God is in control, and He has us covered from the tops of our heads to the soles of our feet. So, guard your mouth and the words that come out of it, for “death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit” (Proverbs 18:21). Let us not harm ourselves with our words, for they can either tear down or build up. Let us choose to build up in our lives and not tear down. In Jesus’ name, I ask and pray, Amen and Amen.
Be blessed today, my dear sweet friends. Remember, wherever you go and whatever you do, be a light for our Father. Much love to you all, Mandi.
