”God always meets our needs!”

“The man said to me, ‘Yes, it is good to pray, but just because you pray doesn’t mean you’ll get everything you ask for. The Lord doesn’t always give you what you want.’ Amen. I replied, ‘Sir, you are correct, but the Lord always gives you what you need.’ Amen.

When we look back over our lives, we can often see how we thought we needed certain things or believed we were meant to be in a particular place. We were convinced that we knew what was best. Amen. But now, we can look back and realize that it wasn’t what we needed to be doing or where we needed to be. Amen. Thank goodness the Lord didn’t always give us what we were praying for. Yes, sometimes God does delay a prayer, but sometimes it’s not just a delay; it’s His answer. It’s hard for us to accept, so we may feel sad or mourn because we keep begging the Lord for certain things or to place us in certain situations, and He hasn’t done so. But we know that God is always working for our good—Romans 8:28—even when we cannot see it. We must trust that God gives us what we need when we need it. Amen.

God loves us and sees it all. He knows what’s best for us, our lives, and the call He has placed on our lives. So today, if you feel that the Lord isn’t answering your prayer the way you think it should be answered, my hope for you—and for myself as well—is that we trust Jesus regardless of the answer. We must learn to live in the present, knowing that while we make our plans, God directs our steps—Proverbs 3:6. Regardless of everything, let us live in the moment, enjoying our lives. Let us cultivate godliness with contentment, for scripture says that is of great gain—1 Timothy 6:6-11. Amen.

Our lives are but a moment, meant to be lived daily. If we dwell on what we think should happen instead of letting go and trusting the Lord, we miss out on life, we miss today, and we never live the happy and blessed life that Jesus, our Lord, died to give us. Amen. So, let us give it all to Jesus, keep praying, and trust that the Lord is in control. He knows what’s best for you, for me, and for our lives. Amen.
For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I ask and pray. Amen and Amen.
Be blessed today, my dear sweet friends, and remember, wherever you go and whatever you do, be a light for our Father. Much love to you all, Mandi
