“Life is made truly grand by the simple things in all of our lives—from the smile of a stranger to the hug of a child, from reading a good book to enjoying quiet time alone, from feeling the breeze of the wind to basking in the sun shining on our faces, from lighting a candle in our home to the touch of a loved one, from singing and laughing to simply living. For life—each of our lives—from the moment we arise in the morning, is filled to overflowing with all of God’s goodness (Psalm 68:19) that He alone daily gives. They say that when we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change. And isn’t that so true? If we choose to see things negatively, we will indeed view them in that negative light. Amen!
Many people see things from different perspectives, all because of how they choose to view them. As for me, I always notice the clouds, the hills, and the mountains. I notice things that others might overlook, but for me, it’s about noticing God and His creation. It reminds me to always look up in life, rather than looking down. Amen. Our lives are blessed daily by many simple things, but it takes us choosing to see them. It takes us choosing to see the good in all things rather than always focusing on the bad. We all have this life to live, Amen. So why not choose to live it well? Why not choose to live it happily? And why not choose to live it, always loving all rather than just a few? Amen!
Our lives are a beautiful masterpiece, placed together by our Lord. He chose our life for us, and He orders our steps daily (Proverbs 16:9, Psalm 37:23, Proverbs 20:24). So let us appreciate life and not murmur or complain about it, for God has an incredible plan for us all (Jeremiah 29:11), and He always has our best interests at heart. When we’re thankful for the simple things, it opens doors for us to be appreciative of everything, no matter how big or small. We all have to start somewhere in life, and if you’re not happy with the little that you may or may not have, what makes you think you would be happy with much more? Amen. Things never make any of us truly happy, at least not for long. So always remember that happiness begins within, not with what is happening around you. Choose life, choose happiness, and choose to be grateful and thankful for all the things that the Lord gives and continues to give daily. In Jesus’ name, I ask and pray. Amen and Amen. Be blessed today, my dear sweet friends, and remember, wherever you go and whatever you do, be a light for our Father. Much love to you all.” Mandi
