”You’re an overcomer!”

“When life is handing you every reason to think or believe the worst, I pray you look back and remember every single one of your victories. Reflect on every time God helped you and set you free from whatever seemed impossible. Life will hand us lemons, and sometimes they come in basketfuls, but we know the saying: when life hands you lemons, get busy making that good, fresh lemonade. Amen. And let’s go a step further by adding some delicious, mighty tasty sugar. Amen!

Because I can say that if we believe the lies of the devil—the evil one of our souls—we will fall into despair. We won’t rise; we will fall. I wrote the other day that somehow we lose sight of the big picture, that we fail to remember the good. Somehow, in our carnal selves, we forget God and all His promises and goodness. For the Bible says that God’s promises are ‘Yes’ and ‘Amen!’ (2 Corinthians 1:20). So just know that the Lord is with you (Isaiah 41:10) and that the Lord is fighting for you (Deuteronomy 3:22). Also, remember that the devil is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44). He wouldn’t be a good devil if he wasn’t a bad one. If we give him even a tiny piece of anything, he’ll take it much further. So let him who stole steal no more from you and your life (Ephesians 4:28). Amen!

Today, think about God’s mercy and grace. Think about all the victories He alone has won for you and your life. God is amazing, and our Lord never changes (Malachi 3:6). He is good, and He is good all the time. Let us praise His name. The Lord may take us through rough spots from time to time, but He knows that in the end, we have the victory. The Lord won that great victory over two thousand years ago on that old rugged cross. Amen. I am ever so glad that our Lord chose to go for me and for you, that we could be free. Oh, what a Savior! Whatever you need, whatever you’re facing, know that God is there, and know that the victory has already been won. We are winners, and we are victorious through Christ Jesus our Lord (1 Corinthians 15:57), who is the Author and Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). So hold on through it all and never let go of our Lord’s hands, for He is in control of it all. I will continue to say this: if God is in control, then nothing is ever out of control. So know who you are, and know that you are a child of God. Rejoice because your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life (Luke 10:20). It is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I ask and pray. Amen and Amen.

Be blessed today, my dear sweet friends, and remember, wherever you go and whatever you do, be a light for our Father. Much love to you all. Mandi
