”God gives me peace!”

“Finding peace with God in your life and heart is a journey one must undertake alone. We don’t find this peace through others, a job, a church, our relationships, money, or any facade we create. These facades will eventually fall away, revealing who we truly are in the Lord. Amen. True peace with Christ comes from Calvary and what our Lord did for us there. It comes from a genuine relationship with Him. We often act around the Lord as we do around people, but the Father knows us better than we know ourselves. He knows when we’ve had enough, what we can handle, and the fakeness we put on. Nothing is hidden from our Lord and Savior. We find peace when we come to the end of ourselves and seek the peace Christ offers. When we get over trying to be something we’re not and consider the benefits of peace, we will do anything to stay in fellowship with the Lord our God. Amen!

“There will be nothing we won’t do to remain in God’s presence, denying ourselves and knowing this life is but a moment, a vapor (James 4:14). Amen. When we lay ourselves down and enter into fellowship and communion with the Lord, we become His best friend because He has always been ours. Amen. We stop fighting daily battles that we have no business fighting because peace with the Lord leads to peace in life. When we are tired from fighting and the overwhelming daily living, we get serious, take off self, and put on the Lord. We come to Him just as we are, lay everything at His feet, and put on His love, mercy, grace, and more than anything, His peace. Praise the Lord. Amen!

“For scripture says that the Lord is Jehovah Shalom, our peace (Judges 6:24). Amen. Isaiah tells us that the Lord will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on Him (Isaiah 26:3). In John, we read, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:27). Amen. It goes on to say, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). Praise the Lord. In 1 Peter, it says, “For whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it” (1 Peter 3:10-11). Amen.

My final thought and prayer for us this morning is the prayer found in the book of Numbers: “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace” (Numbers 6:24-26). Amen. So seek the Lord and His face for your life, for He tells us that if we seek Him with our whole hearts, we will find Him (Jeremiah 29:13). He says, “Ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7). Amen. Live your life in peace, at rest with the Lord, living and abiding in His presence, for scripture says that in His presence is fullness of joy and at His right hand are pleasures forevermore. Amen. Have a great and blessed day. In Jesus’ name, I ask and pray. Amen and Amen. Be blessed today, my dear sweet friends, and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, be a light for our Father. Much love to you all, Mandi.”
