”Faith over fear!”

When we get ready to move forward with Christ Jesus in our lives, we face opposition. We face doubt, and fear somehow creeps its way in, maybe through our thoughts. Often, our minds hold us back from where the Lord is wanting to take us. But we must be willing to move past the fear, move past the doubt, and move on with the Lord, knowing that He is there, leading us and guiding us. We know that we can do all things through Christ, who gives us the strength (Philippians 4:13). Amen.

If we let fear hold us back, we will never reach our full potential with God. Can you imagine the children of Israel and how they felt leaving everything they knew to journey to a land that had been promised—a land they had never seen? Could you imagine picking up and leaving it all, moving into the desert to go to a place that had been promised? I’m sure they were afraid. I’m sure doubt and fear overwhelmed them. But we know the story, and even they had bad days where they doubted and spoke against what the Lord had said. But isn’t that like us? Amen.

Don’t we do the same thing? We move forward for the Lord, and when opposition comes, we begin to doubt and fear. Somehow we think, “What’s the use? This is ridiculous. It’s never going to work out. I’m never going to learn that.” But we have to pull ourselves together. We have to get up once again and know who we are. The promised land is right there ahead of us, but it takes our determination and motivation to get there. It’s not handed to us. There will be enemies, there will be “no’s,” and there will be loads of reasons why we can’t or shouldn’t. But if we listen to the Lord and His voice, that still small voice, we will hear Him saying, “This is the way; walk in it” (Isaiah 30:21). We will hear Him saying to us, “Fear not, for, I am with you always, even to the very end” (Matthew 28:20). Amen.

So move on today, guys. Don’t stop now, for God is helping us all along the pathway we call life. We will make it, and we will get to the place that the Lord intends for us to be. We are no longer slaves to fear, as the song sings and says, for we are children of the Lord. Let none of us grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap if we do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Just as the children of Israel reached that promised land, that land flowing with milk and honey, the same is true for you and me. We will make it, and we too will reach our promised land (Joshua 5:6). So let us keep moving forward, each of us, daily doing the best we can with what we have. For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray. Amen and Amen.

Be blessed today, my dear sweet friends, and remember, wherever you go and whatever you do, be a light for our Father. Much love to you all.
