When we look up into the face of Jesus, we know that He will take our hurts and pains, our sufferings away. He will give us peace in the midst of our storms. In the midst of it all, God will give us rest for our weary souls. He says, ‘Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and take my yoke upon you and learn from me; for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you shall find rest for your weary souls.’ Matthew 11:28-30. God didn’t want us to live our lives always struggling, always fighting. I know this world isn’t our home, and down here we will face many different testings and trials. But God is the one we need. If we would only realize that, instead of relying on ourselves, instead of trying to take care of things ourselves, and understand that prayer is the key to victories in our lives. In the Lord’s presence, the word of God says there is fullness of joy, and at His right hand are pleasures evermore. Psalm 16:11. Amen!
So we don’t carry this world on our shoulders. We take those burdens and give them to Jesus, for He will take care of them. I love the scripture that says, ‘He that has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.’ Philippians 1:6. God says, ‘I know the thoughts that I think towards you, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you an expected end.’ Jeremiah 29:11. So we hold forth to all the promises of God. God’s word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our paths. Psalm 119:105. We move forward in confidence, knowing that God is in control. When we pray, God begins to move, removing all obstacles and hindrances from our way. We rest and let go, knowing that the Lord is in control and that He alone can do anything, anywhere, and anytime He chooses. He is God, and He is our Father. In Jesus’ name, I ask and pray. Amen and Amen. Be blessed today, my dear sweet friends, and remember, wherever you go and whatever you do, be a light for our Father. Much love to you all, Mandi.”
