Every single morning, God’s grace and mercies are new for us. Amen. Every single morning, we get up and start over again, fresh and anew with Christ. Amen. We get up and set our minds on the things above (Colossians 3:2). We set our hearts on Christ and Him alone. We set our attitude towards thankfulness. We get up and move towards our goals with confidence, knowing that Jesus is with us. Praise the Lord.

When we begin with thankfulness and the right mindset, we already know we’re going to have a great day. Amen. We set the course of our day by our thinking, by the things we choose to think about, by the way we pray (Philippians 4:6-7), and by the way we lean on the Lord. It’s about choosing to make a good life for ourselves and our families, and positively impacting those around us. We prevail by our own thinking, our own mindsets, and the way we choose to see our lives, respond, act, and speak. We are a blessed people, and Jesus has been so good to us all. Even in our messes and when we fall away to do our own thing, the Lord stands with us through it all (Psalm 135:14). Amen.

One of the best scriptures is when the Lord, while on the cross, looks over and tells the thief beside Him, “Today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:42-43). Amen. At that very moment, the Lord forgave him and took him home to be with Him forever. Amen. There were no explanations or trying to explain; it was immediate. Amen. Life is lived in all things, even in downfalls, but God is still there. We do our best to live a good life, a life of thankfulness. It’s our choices and decisions that we make daily. God’s grace is there and it is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9), and His mercies are new every morning for each of us (Lamentations 3:22-24). Praise His name.

We hold fast to the goodness of the Lord and live the best life daily, doing the best we can with what we have, being the best we can for Him and Him alone. In Jesus’ name, I ask and pray.
