The whole thing about the whole thing is simply this, guys: our Lord is forever and always faithful. Amen. We can rest in knowing this because daily God keeps us and forever He guides and protects us, meeting our every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Amen. So why do we worry ourselves so much when we know who the Lord is to us and in our lives? When all it really takes is for us to look back for but a moment and consider everything that He has done for us in our lives. Amen.
I just really want to encourage someone today that God is faithful, and He is faithful to you. Amen. He daily gives us what we need. Amen. We may not know what the future holds for us, or for that matter, what tomorrow holds for us. Amen. But we are told in God’s word to take no thought for our lives, what we shall eat, what we shall drink, or what we shall put on. It says, “Is not life more than food and clothes?” It tells us to behold the birds of the air: they do not sow, reap, or gather into barns; yet our heavenly Father feeds them. It says, “By taking thought, can we add anything to it?” It says to take no thought, saying, “What shall we eat? Or what shall we drink? Or what shall we wear?” For it says that our heavenly Father knows what we need. Amen.
But it does tell us to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto us. It says, therefore, take no thought for tomorrow, for tomorrow will take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient is this day and the evil thereof (Matthew 6:25-34). Amen.
What I do know and what I have learned over the years is that God is with us always, and that God always and forever is faithful. The enemy always tries to get us distracted by the distractions. So yes, things may look bad, and things may not be going the way you hoped or even planned. But for one, we are told to walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), and we are to call those things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:16-22). Secondly, we are to remember God and His promises. We are to stand on His word, build our lives on it, and pray continually, for that is His will concerning each of us (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). Lastly, never forget all that the Lord has done for you in your life. Amen.
For He has never failed you, and He doesn’t plan on starting now. For the devil is a liar and the father of them all (John 8:44). So know the word, stand on the word, trust in the Lord, and build your life on Him, for He is our firm and solid foundation. Just know that the winds and the waves may come and blow and beat upon your house, but it will not fall, for you have built upon Jesus (Matthew 8:23-27, Mark 4:35-41, Luke 8:22-25). When Jesus is in your boat of life, so to speak, just know that you have all you need and that all will be well. Everything is well with Him forever and always. So trust Jesus. Let each of us trust Him like we’ve never trusted Him before. Amen.
For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray. Amen and Amen.
Be blessed today, my dear sweet friends, and remember, wherever you go and whatever you do, be a light for our Father. Much love to you all, Mandi.
