I know that each of us leads very busy lives. We juggle many things daily between home life, family life, and just life in general. Sometimes, it can get to be a little too much for us. But when life begins to feel overwhelming and heavy, I am always thankful and reminded of the Word of God. He tells us, “Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30). Amen. What a blessing the scriptures are! It is a true blessing to enter the Lord’s presence and find rest for our weary souls.

I love the song that says, “In His presence, in His holy presence, the weary can find perfect rest, and the broken are restored. In His presence, in His holy presence, there’s nothing like the presence of the Lord.” Amen!

“For in His presence there is fullness of joy; at His right hand are pleasures forevermore.” (Psalm 16:11). Many times, we pick up and carry things that we were never meant to bear or try to carry on our own. Amen. We must seek our help and strength from the Lord. Amen. He says, “Without Me, you can do nothing” (John 15:5). But with Him, we can do all things (Philippians 4:13). Hallelujah!

So, always take time to pray and seek the Lord’s face continually. Amen. Don’t go about your day relying solely on your understanding because God is our helper and our everything. We lift our eyes to the hills from where our help comes. Our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:1-2). My prayer and heart today is that each of us rests in the Lord. Amen. May the Lord’s comfort and peace gently abide with each of us. Amen. For it is in His name, the name above every name, I pray and ask these things—the name of Jesus. Amen and Amen.
