“For so many, they try to meet the expectations of others and what others expect from them. Others hold a huge magnifying glass over another’s life, looking for faults and looking for a better person they can be or think they should be. In doing so, people fall short of these expectations and end up in a crisis. They end up disappointed because others cannot meet their expectations in life. People will do things and say things that will disappoint you. If you try to place boundaries on a person’s life, you will end up in a really bad relationship with that person. People need freedom to grow and to learn, and Jesus helps them do that. But when we try to step in and do it ourselves, we usually end up making a huge mess of things. Amen!
So again, this morning, have grace with people. Don’t be a fault finder, so to speak. Love them beyond their failures and mistakes because that is how we shine and show Jesus. Amen. Just as the Lord forgives and covers us and loves us beyond it all. Amen. For the Lord knows that we are merely made from the dust. Amen. So quit pinpointing faults and start magnifying the good that others do. We all have so much goodness in us; we all have special gifts and talents that we use for the Lord, for His service, and His people. But when we take one thing and begin to exalt it, that thing becomes a big thing and causes damage. Amen. So be a great encourager and remember we all have faults. None of us is perfect. Deuteronomy 32:4. We may try to be perfect, but we do fall and mess up because we are merely humans living in a fallen world, doing the best we can with what we have as we journey through life. Let us help one another make it. Let us throw all of those expectations of what we want others to be out the window, and let us love them beyond the failures and mistakes. Then, and only then, will we ever be more like Jesus. Ephesians 3:18-19. Amen.
For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I ask and pray. Amen and Amen. Be blessed today, my dear sweet friends, and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, be a light for our Father. Much love to you all, Mandi.”
