“Happy Life!”

“I know that for the most part that everyone just wants to be happy in their lives..Amen..and they really do strive for this..happiness that is..but somehow they miss the happiness..and why you may ask?..well, because they see happiness as in getting more things..they have placed their happiness in the realm of the way the world sees it..and the way that the world sums it up..that if you do this or that..and you check off all of the boxes that they’ve given..then you’ve made it..you’ve accomplished the happiness of life..Amen..but even with all the boxes checked..they still are not happy..they can have everything and still not be happy..not be content..not be satisfied in their lives..all the while thinking well if I get this..or if I go there..or if I live here..if only I had that..and on and on the list goes..Amen..because how many of you know that in this life..things do not make you happy..nor will they keep you happy..maybe for a moment you’ll be happy with whatever it is..could be the trip..could be that wonderful vacation..could be the new outfit..could be the new carpeting in your home..could be the remodel..Amen..but at the end of it all..you just lose that happiness..and you are back to square one again..Amen..so I think about happiness..and true blue happiness..is when my bills are paid..when my health is good..when my family is okay..when my house is cleaned..when I finish cooking dinner..or baking something delicious..Amen..going for a evening walk outside..watching my favorite tv show or movie..Amen!”

“But even more than that..I read a post and it says this..very little is needed to make a happy life..Amen..and I read this and I thought how true is this..because I remember as a little girl..walking down the road with my Randy..AKA as my dad..Amen..to this tiny little store that we had there in the holler where we lived..and I would have a few pennies..and with those pennies I could get pieces of bubble gum out of this gumball machine they had on the counter..Amen..but if I got this little round wooden ball instead of a gum ball then I could cash it in and get me a big candy bar..Amen..and you talk about happiness..oh my goodness it was like the best day ever..Amen..so I think if we look back at our childhood..and how we were about everything..because happiness flowed from us..and it was in the littlest of things..then we could renew our minds..Romans 12:2..to thinking better than we are now about what brings happiness to what doesn’t bring it..but as well always know happiness is that of yours..and it is a inside job..so don’t entertain bad thoughts..cast them away..2 Corinthians 10:5..redirect your thinking..and be thankful for your life..and as they say always know that the grass is greener where you yourself waters it..Amen..so find the little things and be happy for them..and be thankful and know that you are truly so blessed..Amen..for again very little is needed to make a happy life..Amen..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
