“The weather has been back and forth here in North Carolina for the past week or so..and some days it’s hot as ever and others not so much..and so you have to learn how to dress appropriately for if you don’t you will either be too cold or too hot..and being one or other is no fun at all really..Amen..but this morning since I’ve been up the Lord keeps reminding me to keep my soul on fire..Amen..in other words..keep myself with Him and stay there..keep my mind on the goodness of the Lord..keep myself in His presence..keep myself in His word..Amen..keep myself daily sitting and feasting at His table..Amen..keep the embers in my soul burning for Him and always..I keep thinking about the disciples and at how they were with the Lord..Amen..seeing all of the miracles and all the He could do..but at how quickly they lost sight of that when the storm began to brew out on the ocean that night..and there was our Lord Jesus sleeping in the bow of the boat..and they were frightened and they woke Jesus up and are saying to Him do you not care that we perish?!..Mark 4:38..Amen!”

“I always consider this story but as well I keep thinking Lord they were already doubting You, Father..in what probably was no more than a few hours maybe that they were in the boat and after the fact they had just seen these awesome miracles..Amen..Jesus feeding the five thousand..healing..delivering..and here they are gonna say to the Lord do you not care?..Amen..so this is the thing for me and as well all of us..the disciples were human just like we are..Amen..and at how we as well begin to doubt the Lord’s goodness ever so quickly..we begin to second guess..we begin to murmur and complain..we begin to seek out everyone else for their advice..and their opinions..and totally somehow along the way disregard the Lord and all of who He is..Amen..and so guys it is just that easy..just that easy that the enemy gets us sidetracked..and gets us distracted..and overwhelmed with whatever is happening and taking place..and so he wants us to do everything else but go to the Lord..Amen..because how many of yo know that in God’s presence we change..and in God’s presence enemies have to flee..Amen!”

“So I don’t know how many of us this morning needed to be reminded to stay on fire for the Lord..Amen..keep yourself by keeping yourself in the Lord and in His presence and in His word..keep your heart and mind pure..keep it filled..stay focused..don’t lose sight..Amen..for God is in control and God has it..everything..don’t lose your joy..for the joy of the Lord is your strength..Nehemiah 8:10..Amen..God is the strength of our lives..so stay mindful of our Father and do it all the day long..don’t look to this world for your help for you will not find it..you find it in Jesus and in Him alone..Praise His name..you find it when you humble yourself and pray..when you go about doing good as the Lord did..being about the Fathers business..Luke 2:49..not being a busy body..not being a grumpy person..not being mean and ugly towards others..but just living your life and living it well for the Lord..for when you do good and you give good out there in this world that goodness comes back to you..Amen..so be the best you that you can be and daily so..Amen..and keep your face like a flint always towards the heavens looking up into Jesus’ face..Isaiah 50:7..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
