“I do know about 24 years ago..I was still a babe in Christ..I had been serving the Lord for about 5 years..and I still as I am now learning about my Father..because how many of you know that it is a never ending thing to know who Jesus truly is..Amen..it is a daily thing knowing Him..and serving Him..but most importantly growing in Him and abiding in Him..Amen..but as I say it was 24 years ago..and I was very active in church Erik and I both were..Amen..but I would sing solo and in the choir for the Lord..and Erik would do the sound..Amen..but I do know that I would get so nervous..because when your doing anything for Jesus it is something that you want right..Amen..you want Him above all to be pleased with you and what you are doing for Him..Amen..but anyways one afternoon for my birthday my mommy and my Randy had made me an appointment to go to a recording studio and have a CD made with me singing on it..and I can tell you what I had never been more nervous in my life..it probably was one of the most scariest things I had ever done for the Lord..Amen..but all the day long I prayed and I cried to the Lord..and I was asking of Him to please help me to sing right..get the notes right..and everything in between..Amen..and ever so gently I kept hearing the Lord saying to me..abide in Me for apart from Me you can do nothing..Amen!”

“So I knew this was a scripture and so I went quickly to my bible to find that word that God had given..because His word is everything..Praise the Lord..that’s how He speaks to us..Amen..anyways I found it and I read it and I cried the whole time that I read it all the while God’s presence was all around me..I could feel Him and His presence ever so strongly..Amen..and the word was this..Abide in Me..and I in you..as a branch cannot bear fruit of itself..unless it abides in the vine..neither can you..unless you abide in Me..John 5:4..Amen..and as my life has gone on from day to day and at times I fail..and I falter..and I do not always get it right..it is in them moments that I know that I am not abiding as I should be..Amen..and how I abide is by prayer and daily so..and reading some of my bible..I just glance and read through it at times..and I worship the Lord..I get into His presence by worship..Amen..but that is how I have learned to abide..Amen..and my thoughts for us all this day is that without the Lord we can do nothing but with Him we can do all things..Philippians 4:13..Amen..we must abide in Him..and then we can walk out our pathway a little better..and choose a little better..Amen..because temptations and this world never stops pulling on us..Amen..so we need Jesus so we can bear fruit..and good fruit at that..and make a difference in our lives and in our world in which we live..so let us all abide..Amen..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go, and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
